So, in my last post I showed the breathtaking views of in the morning. We went back the next afternoon (after hiking that morning… still to be posted) and it was an entirely new hike! The were and my mind could barely comprehend that I was seeing colors like this in real life that had not been painted or edited. and I’m so glad to see the park at a different time. Other than the crowds… I want to see this place at every time of day in every season! Check out our last post to see beauty in different lighting. Unbelievable

This past Thursday (July 11) we got to see and for the first time. We were truly by the color and beauty. We did the hike first thing in the morning to beat the crowds. The was so magical. We happened upon this cute little garden bar for a drink, and realized we were sitting right in where some of the many frightful scenes of the movie were filmed. Yes we did more sightseeing today, but my biggest accomplishment was finally going up (and back down) the terrifying tall and narrow staircase in our to the I’m not a fan of heights, nor narrow staircases with no railings, but I did it! Jude got the kids up there a couple of days ago. I just can’t imagine how anyone actually carried that furniture up there! What are your proudest big wins that may not seem so huge to everyone else?
