Who doesn’t eat pepper 🌶?

In all the local interpretations of pepper with different Nigerian 🇳🇬local Languages, I must confess that For me, The “Yoruba’s” have it, they call it , “ata” , Atarodo sounded so good from Alaja Salami 😋

The AkwaIbomites call it, “Ntuen” I love the sound of

The “Efîks” call it “Ntokon” a bit more sensual😁 wait till it enters your eye, or hurts your fingers and you use it at the wrong place 😂 you will know😂

Meanwhile, how do you cope when pepper messes your entire fingers up and it hurts for the rest of the day? 😂 🤪

I tried something Hot and spicy cos of the Weather😋🌶 with a Ghanaian snack made with Over Ripe plantain called Kelewele.

I love Kelewele, my Ghanaian brothers and sisters eat this the most with groundnuts(Nice combo), but I love to pair it with something a bit extra😋 Spicy Snail Sauce, Yummy 🤤

So here goes our very special Fresh Afang Soup💃💃💃

This Special Delicacy is classified under one of the Vegetable Soups from the Southern part of Nigeria.
Cross River State and Akwa Abasi Ibom state respectively.

It’s a popular vine that grows in the South of Nigeria, also found in tropical rainforests of Cameroon, Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Angola. In DRC, it is called Mfumbwa, Longongia, or Banvale, depending on the local language. In the Central African Republic, Gabon, Congo, Angola, and even some parts of DRC, it is called Koko. In Cameroon, its called Okok/Eru. In Nigeria its called Afang (Efik/Ibibio), Ukazi/Okazi (Igbo), and Ajobaje/Ajakotale (Yoruba).Afang is an excellent source of dietary fiber, protein, vitamins, magnesium, calcium, manganese, sodium, iron, zinc, potassium, copper, and essential amino acids. Afang leaf is commonly used for the treatment of piles, sore throat, and high blood pressure. It’s also known to increase Libido😋

It’s Amazing African Dish originally from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria that is made from coco yam and water yam to produce a Rich porridge. This amazing Dish is so rich in Vitamins B6 and magnesium. The leaves used to garnish are a good source of vitamins A and C and contain more protein..
