I recently got back from an amazing trip to Busan, South Korea, and I was fascinated by the little cultural differences I encountered every day! One of the most simple yet intriguing experiences was something as everyday as pressing a crosswalk button.

In Busan, as in many parts of South Korea, the crosswalk culture is quite an interesting affair! 🚦 Here are some notable observations:

The crosswalk buttons are often located at the ends of sidewalks, with auditory signals to assist people with visual impairments. It’s incredibly thoughtful and efficient! 👟💬

South Koreans admire patience, and you'll see folks waiting for the light to change even if there are no cars in sight. It's a great reminder that sometimes slowing down and following the rules can be a beautiful reflection of respect and discipline. 🙏💡

Many pedestrian crossings are adorned with colorful LED displays and musical cues at more significant intersections, making each wait a charming and harmonious experience. 🎶✨

These little differences make travel such a joyous and enlightening experience, and it's wonderful to see how small, everyday actions can be done a bit differently around the world!
