Have a backup plan when you Japa

The majority of persons who become stranded overseas after Japa do so frequently because they do not have a reliable backup plan.

Here are a few tips to avoid that.

1. Make use of your first three months when you eventually depart your country of origin on a visa, such as to the or . Take advantage of this opportunity to obtain additional , such as US and visas, which will enhance your travel record and be used as backups. The first three months of your one-year study is the ideal time to apply. You have a greater possibility of being turned down after that time. Therefore, make excellent use of it.

2. Don't sit back and relax now that you've traveled; prepare a backup plan. How do you proceed? If you are on a student visa, begin planning how you will either plot your path to another nation or make preparations to stay permanently. Listen for updates on immigration laws and regulations in the nation you are studying in or in other jurisdictions that share your Japa goals.

3. Take your chance: You must acknowledge that the course you are doing might not provide you with the ability to extend your stay. You have to think creatively to make your shot. What additional programs, courses, or skill sets can you obtain to aid in your scaling up? Sometimes it's not even about a course; it may be a highly sought-after profession, in which case you have a better chance of changing your visa type.

4. Know when to give up—Japa becomes difficult when you are unable to recognize the warning indications. Don't put off making arrangements to tap out of a nation that doesn't support your long-term goals until the last minute. Plan B and C should be activated immediately if you have a PGWP and have been on it for the past six to nine months.Never wait until the last minute to prevent losing your status.

5. Get Japa advice and clarity. It's likely that some information will not come to your attention because you are not an expert.

Which country between and can issue a working visa to me faster? I’m still here in ?

Do you have a valid, full-time, LMIA-approved job offer from a Canadian employer?

No?

Better go with Portugal because you cannot even apply for a Canadian work permit unless you have a qualifying job offer. Such offers are VERY DIFFICULT to obtain for those with no Canadian experience or references and who are applying from thousands of miles away. Canadian employers very rarely hire foreign workers. They need special permission from a government agency to hire a foreign national.

The processing time will be significant even if you are able to somehow get a qualifying job offer. Current projected processing time for an application from Nigeria for an essential occupation is five to six months. For a non-essential occupation, it will take longer.

Your profile is blank so I have no idea if you would be applying for an ‘essential occupation’.

Try for Portugal. It might be easier and a lot faster.

With all my experience in traveling abroad, I can boldly tell you that there’s ghetto and bbad roads in every foreign . The only good thing about them is they have mastered how to speak good about their country and they’ve got beautiful aesthetics.

Whatever you see in is also abroad. Many countries are far more developed than Nigeria but there’s still bahd things about them that you and I do not know until you go there.

Are you aware there are so many petty thieves in ? The same way we have thieves in and that will obtain your bags or or purse, na so e Dey for foreign countries.

is very and heaven on but enter their market and you’ll see roads like Balogun .

Dubai doesn’t give anyone .

They have strict laws that are so harsh

Their are so rigorous and hard ehn

Have you seen the accommodation where people working lives? You’ll think they’re in a prison. One small cubicle, they’ll rent it to 10 people.

Dubai is so good for but not a place to work. If you’re looking for in Dubai, you go old before you find one.

Or is it that’s so beautiful yet they have accommodation issues.

nko? Their r+cism can make you run cray cray.

And mind you, not all foreign countries are nice to black skinned people.

In conclusion, learn to speak good about your country, learn to promote good news about your states, learn to paint Nigeria as the best. That’s what other countries do.

Dubai will paint their city as heaven but enter there nah and you’ll see. Ordinary bahd news about their country they’ll never allow you post it.

nko? Those ones doesn’t even allow you use social media so how you wan take talk about them?

Again, the secret is, learn to talk about Nigeria in good faith.
