If you could only visit one place, for the rest of your life, where would it be?

I know—it’s a tough one. But there’s something magnetic about that one destination that seems to call you back, no matter where else you go.

For me, it’s Big Sur, California. The sunsets over the cliffs, the way the golden hour makes everything feel like a dream… not to mention the food. (I could eat that fresh tqmales and tacos every single day!) There’s just something irreplaceable about it.

But here’s the twist: I’ve got a trip this year to Monaco in the French Riviera —somewhere I’ve never been before. From everything I’ve heard, it might just have the power to dethrone Big Sur as my go-to escape.

I’ll report back in September to let you know how it stacks up.

What questions do I ask when researching hotels or resorts for you?

When it comes to booking your next luxury escape, it’s essential to ask the right questions to ensure your stay is flawless. One of the most important—but often overlooked—details is whether the hotel or resort is undergoing construction during your visit.

Imagine checking in, only to be woken up at 7 AM by the sound of drills and hammers. The last thing you want when you are at your supposed sanctuary, is to be greeted by the sound of drills and hammers disrupting your peace.
