Know Before You Go!
Thank you for choosing Happy Feet Hiking and letting us take you to Suba Forest Park and Mount Adere. Here is a list of things you should know before you go »»»»»»
⛅️⛅️As per the forecast (https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Menagesha+Ethiopia+ETXX5280:1:ET), the weather is going to be generally sunny despite a few afternoon clouds. The temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius.
☔️ Sometimes, no matter how much you plan, the weather proves the forecast wrong. You cannot always predict a sudden storm or rain shower, but you can prepare for surprises. To solve this problem, pack a rain jacket, rain pants, or a hiking umbrella. Moreover, just remember to layer so that you can add or subtract as the temperature changes.
🚶🏿♂️Wear long pants to avoid shrubs and sharp edge or pointed leave plants that will scratch or irritate the skin
👟🧦 Wear light hiking shoes and tall wool or synthetic socks to avoid blisters and insects, as well as for extra protection. Cotton socks should be avoided because they absorb moisture. Also, make sure your toes have plenty of room to move.
🥗🍩 🍌 Aside from the snacks, water, and lunch that we provide, it is recommended that you bring extra food, fruits, and water or energy drinks- because hiking requires you to consume more than you normally would.
💧💧Stay Hydrated- Without enough water, your body cannot perform at its best. Make sure to hydrate before the hiking trip and sip water throughout the day.
🎒Bring a small bag to hold your belongings, such as extra food, water, and energy drinks, as well as clothes.
🕶🧢Wear a hat and apply sunscreen to avoid sunburn. Also, bring sunglasses to prevent your eyes from the sun's UV rays.
🚫💴 Don't offer money to children in the area to avoid encouraging begging. You may also bring school supplies or clothing to help the local children.
😷 Wearing a face mask is mandatory!
