Weather travel tip:

Pack as if there will be rain, enjoy the day as if there is none!

When traveling to Orlando, especially in summer months, rain is a given. Pack the ponchos and shoe covers, but remember, the day can still be incredible rain or shine. It's all in the way you work around it.

This is another beautiful reason to use a travel agent. We have all the tips and tricks on what to do in the rain, but also, we are here to sit on hold with Disney to get all your reservations changed if your flight is delayed/canceled for weather!

What made me want to become a travel agent?

Growing up I knew I wanted to see the world in some way. I have traveled many places, but going to Disney on a specific trip is when I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

I grew up loving and watching all things Disney, and I knew some day I wanted it to be the place I took my child so he could feel that magic in person every chance he got. There is something about Disney that makes you feel seen, heard, and like you belong. After I had my son, his love for The Lion King came alive, then it moved to Star Wars and many other Disney movies and characters, and I knew that boy would thrive at Disney. I had felt a pull to be a travel agent over many different years. I had looked into it several times as I loved to travel and I have always had this insane desire to help people (I have worked in the medical field since 2009). But the second I started planning our Disney trip and I stepped into Disney World with my son for his first time I just knew. I knew I wanted to help people experience that same moment with their children as I was with mine. I know it sounds so silly to some, but it is something I will never forget. I have had people ask, "don't you get tired of going to Disney?" and the answer is absolutely not. Each trip is different and the older my son gets the more I get to see him become a kid again every single time.
If you have made it this far, thank you. Disney planning is my baby, and I have a special reason as to why it is my main destination and specialty. But I love helping families plan the perfect vacations for them, whether that be Disney or somewhere else.
I hope to help so many of you experience the vacation of your dreams. Because that is what every trip should feel like, a dream come true.

Disneyland is getting some INCREDIBLE stuff 😍

Another AMAZING D23 Disneyland update... a brand-new Avatar attraction will debut starting where the 2nd movie, Way of Water begins and also continuing with additional movies (yes, there will be additional movies), and their plotlines too.

This move was so beautiful, can't wait to see what the attraction will look like!

Our entire trip this June was unforgettable. But this night, this is one that will stick with me forever. Experiencing this firework show with my favorite people, running through EPCOT getting soaked, finding the perfect spot for the show, seeing this show mixed with lightening made for the absolute most stunning views. After the show we walked through a very empty EPCOT and got to experience the beauty that is this park at night. My son has never lit up the way he did this night.

Take the trips. Make the memories. You can always make more money. Your kids will never be the age they are now again.

🚨 🚨 UPDATE ON GENIE PLUS SERVICES THIS SUMMER

this summer Disney Parks will make changes to their Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane entry, including new ways to plan ahead.

On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names to provide more clarity for everyone. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

They will also be updating Lightning Lane passes to help you:

✨Make Lightning Lane plans before you’re here, for added confidence.

✨Choose your experiences and times prior to purchasing, so you know what you’re getting.

✨Book Lightning Lane passes for multiple vacation days, all in a single day.

Here’s how Lightning Lane passes will work beginning July 24.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass
✨When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you may make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in a theme park, in advance of your visit. You’ll also be able to choose available times as you make your selections.

On the day of your visit, once you use a selection, check the My Disney Experience app for availability to make an additional selection.

Lightning Lane Single Pass
✨Lightning Lane Single Pass will work much like it does today, where you can secure a time to ride one of our most highly demanded attractions, but you’ll now be able to make your purchase and plan in advance.

How to Plan Ahead
✨Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance.

These advance purchase windows will let guests secure some of their must-do rides and experiences after they’ve had some time to decide what dining reservations they want to book and any other plans they may need to consider.

Guests may purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, a Lightning Lane Single Pass or both. The app will also be updated to make it quicker and easier to purchase and plan, with fewer steps and a new option to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass in one transaction.

Lightning Lane passes will blend features from our current services and the previously offered FastPass+ service, giving guests the choice to plan ahead and removing the hassle of planning during their vacation.

Well, we just said "see you later" to Disney World. I've already been planning our next trip so I can take advantage of our bounce back offer that comes after a stay at a Disney resort.
This trip was so fun. I had the best time with my family and I got to work on making sure I have the best up to date tips and tricks for my Disney clients!

Don't sleep on the EPCOT firework show. It poured rain and stormed right before (hence the wild hair and soaked clothes) but watching the lightening mixed with the show was stunning.

If you are headed to Disney anytime from now to September 2nd I highly recommend seeing the drone show at Disney Springs! It runs twice a night and although it is chaos getting in and out, the show is totally worth it.
