Adventures day! Been awhile since I’ve been out to get new photos! This is above the single lane bridge located in Shannonville! Fun and exhilarating to climb up there for photos and not even 10 minutes after climbing down, a train went wizzing by! Quite the rush of adrenaline for my recluse self! Anyhoo, I hope everyone enjoys the views when I share them 🫶🏽

The Second Annual Tyendinaga Indigenous Tattoo Gather has been an incredible weekend experience! Definitely hope to see more people out next year. Set up a vendor booth it doesn’t have to be tattoos, socialize, connect, listen to the stories and share a weekend of indigenous healing! This is the kind of stuff our people need in these times! Reconnect with the ancestors and be the deadly aunties and uncles of our communities! Let’s make it the norm for us again and be who we are as indigenous peoples! Wear our markings with the utmost pride and appreciation!

Yesterday’s sunset was a great excuse to get out the old Nikon to start using again! It’s been awhile since I took some nice shots. I’m hoping to get back in the habit of doing it regularly cause it is definitely something I enjoy doing!

How cool are these?? I found them by accidentally bumping one and seeing the spores fly out the little hole, was so interesting to see when I’ve never seen them before!! Not sure the ID on these fungi but a fascinating one indeed! I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the magic, the medicine, the knowledge and everything in between about Fungi, mycelium and all the things that tie into it!

I became fascinated with fungi too late in the season and now I’m sad I can’t appreciate them in real life. 🍄 It’s a good thing I have more photos saved for serotonin boosts through snow time! 🥰

I’ve been to the depths of hell and I’ve been to the gates of heaven, all in this lifetime! I’ve learned to acknowledge and appreciate all of the ups and downs for exactly what they are. Sometimes it may take some time to realize what exactly they are, oftentimes we can have distorted views of the truth. Asking lots of questions will help find the answers.

Making space for my highest self to grow and thrive! Learning to love the journey and keep pushing for that betterment of self!

Ivy Berry Acres (can be found on Facebook) is really such a wild beauty! All these beautiful plants drawn naturally to the land for us to enjoy now! Some are edible, some are medicinal, we still don’t know what everything is yet but we’re quickly learning!
