Sandwish is a cafe that specializes in offering variety flavours of sandwiches🥪 and each sandwich is freshly made upon order✨ Scanning the menu, can you believe it serves more than 20 distinct flavours😮 Sharing the recent flavours I had!

🥪𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨 won a place in my heart❤️ The secret spicy sauce added a bursting flavour in my mouth🤤 Very flavourful for each bite and loved the generous amount of ebiko on top!😋 Followed by 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧, their hot item🌟 with great punch of spiciness & juicy yet crunchy chicken. Not to mention the well-marinated chicken was super thick!😍 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 which stuffed with walnut gave a nutty flavour & texture to the overall. Loved they paired it with cranberries for some juicy sweetness😙 For someone who prefer lighter opt, this flavour is definitely for you!😉

Each sandwich we had was awesomely fulfilling & delicious😋 and just wish the 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 flavour can be smokier even though the salmon was fresh & smooth enough with rich egg mayo tasting!

The 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰 was incredibly special & interesting with a mix & match of cinnamon brown sugar tasting. I also enjoyed the 𝐇𝐨𝐣𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚 with beautiful latte art & rich roasted flavour! 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 was not bad but the coffee was on the lighter side while matcha might overpowering the overall taste.

The Maker is an OG pastry cafe in Beach Street, Penang that has been open for several years✨ It offers freshly baked pastries, beautiful cakes🍰, and great coffee☕️ and its pastries are mainly French influenced. A place that is loved by both locals and tourists❤️

My love for black colour food or anything related to BSSM never ends😛 Presented in a black charcoal colour and filled with rich sesame flavour😋 Sweet yet bitter. But am prefer pure BSSM so this was slightly sweet for me🙊 In reality, I think sweetness was just right for pastry👍🏼 My grandma also approved!😆 how about u 🤪

Fresh, juicy sweet mango on the custardy tart. The presentation was a 10/10!😍 The tart was firm and very fragrant but it tasted sweet when having more.

Come w/ strawberry jam & cream. Loved how the exterior was golden crusted with butter fragrance and the texture was cakey with raisin sweetness👍🏼 But a bit crumbly

🔖Final verdict: One of the most recognized & recommended places to have croissants, cakes, and coffee in Penang🌟 Front displayed pastries are excellently served and up to the quality. Personally enjoy the cozy, warm, and lovely ambiance with bright sunlight shining from the top🌞, wooden furnishings🪵 and surrounded greeneries🌿 Gives me a relaxing & calming feeling especially when coming here after a busy week🥰 Perfect for an afternoon tea session🫖 The only downside is that it is challenging to find parking as you know it is located in the town area😢

Dolce | Penang

🎂 Dolce in Penang is a famous cake shop that has been opened many years🤩 The cafe was previously located at Kek Chuan Street and now it has re-opened at Lorong Selamat. Within years, they have a passion for delivering beautiful cakes with premium ingredients and sharing the love within the community💓 And this is why it is active and has been around for 12 years, having many loyal customers!✨

Each cake is so beautiful in high presentation😍 and they even provide a set of cutlery including matches, paper plates, tissue along the cake😮 so convenient🤩!

Had 𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝟓” from here and just sharing my thoughts. As a pistachio lover, am so excited when seeing this flavour offering in the shop🤤 Each layer was amazingly offered a different type of taste but balanced & complemented beautifully. From the outer layer of 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘦 to the 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘰 𝘧𝘦𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘦, 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 and 𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘱𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘫𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘺 layer, everything was done to a perfect💯 The raspberry jam was sweet-sour, giving additional flavour😋 with rich and nutty pistachio🥺 So satisfying in every bite!😩

Churn Ice Cream | Damansara Uptown

Churn, an artisanal ice cream🍨 dessert shop has been well known for its sourdough waffle pairing with gelato ice cream using premium ingredients✨

Had two scoops of ice cream which is [🍓] 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 & [🍫] 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥𝐧𝐮𝐭 with the must-try [🧇] 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐖𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞. A delightful combo for texture & flavour😙 The waffle was truly impressed & amazed🤩 because of the dough‘s sourness😮 and crispness on the edge😋 For ice cream, maybe I had too high expectations on it? As both flavour we had are on the sweeter side😅 Chocolate Hazelnut was incredibly rich with real hazelnut flavour but might be too sweet for my liking🥹 However, I have to approve that the texture was made up to quality, silky & creamy with generous serving scoop. Just personally not a fan of their ice cream. Also, had tested some flavours including the pistachio. Even though am a pistachio lover, it isn’t my preference🫢 and feel that the sourdough-based waffle was interesting but is weird if paired with ice cream

🔖: This place allows one to test the ice cream without a limited amount and the staff is friendly in introducing the flavour. This place might be very crowded, especially during the night. Only 8-10 flavours are offered each day and flavours will be changed. But the flavour selections for some are unique and worth a try😁

A cute & pet friendly dessert shop with both modern and traditional dessert selections in Subang, SS15 which is open until 2am ‼️ Great spot for someone who looks for a supper in late night or simply a dessert treat and gatherings ✨

Their shaved ice-based is plain ice drizzled with condensed milk and isn’t the usual milk flavoured based. The toppings for each flavour are not consistent and will change sometimes depending on what they prepare. However, the condiments are a decent addition 🤤 Generous portions and ideally suitable for 2-3 people 👍🏼

I would prefer strawberry > taro > mango. Taro lovers should try out the taro one which is topped with real blended taro paste, very fancy and less common to find in a bowl of bingsu. For the mango, maybe they drizzled with mango sauce so it was getting sweet when having more 🥹 Tried the sticky glutinous ball which is the previous B1F1 promotion for a few selected menus but it was just soso for my liking as it was without any filling and topped with cream. Nothing special for it 🥹

It is a great spot for people around who look for dessert or places to chill with friends or oneself with the added bonus of the 1 am operating hour. For those who are interested, check out ✨

📌 .gelato serves the best gelato ice cream in town ❤️ can’t find any other better one 🥺 the Christmas season flavour is so good 🎄
📌 🍧 the snowy and fine texture with creamy milk-based flavour is truly impressive 😮‍💨 finally understood why it’s so expensive 🥹 must get the Tiramisu Sulbing 🍫

📌 shortlisted for my fav cafe list 🥳 Matcha Forest and Pistachio Raspberry are a must-try! Pizza & beef don was yum too 🤩
📌 Each dish was delicious and up to quality with huge portions. Perfect to share for small eaters but the downside is the environment is too noisy 😵‍💫
📌 always go for their milk shaved ice 😍 one of the famous tongsui shops in Penang that both locals and tourists love to go ✨ wide selection of traditional and modern tongsui

The classic flavour of shaved ice in Korea w injeolmi, red bean, almond flakes & sprinkled w/ soybean powder. The soy powder makes the whole thing extra fragrant & delish 😋 Just it might fly everywhere 😂

🍵Berry X’Mas Sulbing (M)
The green tea ice cream complemented well with the shaved ice itself. Rich & neither bitter nor sweet. This Christmas edition presented w/ green matcha colour truly brought up Christmas vibes 💚 A huge amount of fresh strawberries were served 😍

🍫Tiramisu Bingsu (L)
Another creation that blows my mind away 🥹 You might probably want to dig in the more you have!❤️‍🔥 Topped w thick Tiramisu cake & chocolate-flavored elements 🍫 Layer-by-layer including ice cream below the cake but w/o overpowering each. The tiramisu cake was so perfectly moist & creamy 🥺 Didn’t expect it to taste so good and the whole thing was 10/10!💯 The chocolate was amazingly balanced with the overall bitterness from espresso 😮‍💨

Look simple but the croffle was soft yet crispy & not too sweet w the 🍓sauce.

The yogurt-based smoothie w fresh berries goodness 😍 Just like eating llaollao ice cream but in smoothie texture 😆

Sparkling & fizzy. But its taste was similar to 100 plus 😅

POP the egg yolk, it said YES 😍 xtra SEXY creaminess 🤩 A satisfying combo to devour 😋 Very flavourful, fragrant with authentic Mala taste 🤤 and it wasn’t too spicy 🌶️

🍝 Fish & Chip Carbonara
Typical Carbonara pasta but served w juicy & thick fish meat 😍 but imo the fish can be seasoned well or drizzled with lemon for better taste 🫢

🍕 Rendang Chicken Pizza
This’s what a unique creation & combo?!!🤯 Incredibly nice w crispy bases & rempah taste. Max savoury delights and a mouthwatering sign 😋

I swear this is the best Unagi don I had 🥹 The Unagi itself was very fresh & juicy 🤤 w Teriyaki sauce & w/o being over salty. Pleased that can enjoy both Salmon & Unagi at once!💯 When can’t decide which to go, why not get it 🤪

For drinks, ☕️ Nothing, was smooth, creamy & more foamy but nothing too special. 🍯 Honey Berry Oolong, was fruity, berry & refreshing w/o being syrupy.

Trust me, please and MUST save room for their cake!😝 Within one bite you can instantly know the abundance of quality ingredients used 🤩 texture & flavour is so GREAT

The noodle's texture was MUST to highlight 🤩 Smooth, and chewy w/o being too thick or floury. But eat immediately, else it will stick together like a lump of dough 😅 Each bowl noodles (dry & soup) come with bowl of soup of your choice ✨

Kanada-Ya is an authentic Japanese ramen bar, specializing in tonkotsu ramen which is founded in Japan 🇯🇵 The signature ramen broth is cooked for an 18-hour with secret recipes 👨🏻‍🍳 Can you believe the Tonkotsu ramen is handmade by the founder himself and exported from Japan to every country!

Finally, my turn to try this No1 Ramen Brand in London which just opened a few months ago in Penang 😙

Got the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘁 which is RM29.90 and is served with 1 choice of side dish (𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗴𝗲 (𝟮𝗽𝗰𝘀) & 𝗚𝘆𝗼𝘇𝗮) and 1 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗮 🍵 The main dish option in the super set menu is with availability of some popular ramen choices. So, customers can enjoy noodles in a set at an affordable price 👍🏼

The noodle broth was very flavourful, fragrant, creamy & rich without being too salty 💯 But will start feeling thirsty after finishing the whole bowl honestly 🥹 I preferred the spicy base soup more than the original as the flavor is better but it was also not spicy. The meat in the kotteri tonkotsu ramen is in the perfect combination of lean & fat 👌🏼 Approved the ramen texture, very springy w/ nice chew 😋 Noodles were thin and absorbed all the flavours of broth.

Side dish:
𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐚𝐠𝐞: Very crunchy w/o thick flour coating. The meat was incredibly juicy, succulent & tender 😋
𝐆𝐲𝐨𝐳𝐚: Grilled type. Packed with fresh juicy meat but the skin wasn’t crispy & was a bit thick 😅

I had 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐮 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐮 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧 and it was topped w/ black fungus, seaweed, and tons of spring onion, adding a very nice touch when eating together. The well marinated Chashu was generously served with right thickness 😋

Overall, the ramen here wasn’t really mind-blowing and just average for me. Is it worth the hype? I think not 😌 But everyone is welcome to try 😉 Would recommend sharing for small eaters who get the set or noodles

A Japanese fusion cafe serving signature curry omurice 🍛, pasta 🍝, specialty drinks & desserts. This time, they’re back with a new location, menu expansion, pet-friendly corner & new look of shop interior ✨

With the new items, they are now having sushi options, and new cake & drinks flavor to cater to customers’ tastebud ❤️‍🔥

Had my recent visit to this newly opened dessert cafe .bingsu in town that specializes in shaved ice & croffle 🍧 Another new spot has joined the bingsu gang!!😍 Offers various flavour and some are very special 💯 Whether you prefer fruity or tea flavour, they have all 😙

𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 (𝟐𝟔)
Would say this flavour is so rare to find for a Bingsu but they had it 🤩 Served w/ chewy BSSM tangyuan, various ball & BSSM sauce on side. This flavour was surprisingly so good in bingsu form. My fav 🥺

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 (𝟐𝟔)
Didn’t realize the matcha was that thick 🥹 Truly rich matcha and the texture still a texture that bingsu has but just super thicker a lot!! No wonder it’s premium 😂 Filled w generous amount of red beans but it gets sweeter in the end. Loved the extra fancy topping, white jelly. This flavour is defo so MATCHA 😙

On the second visit, I had 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 (𝟐𝟔) Deserve the signature 🔥 but if you’re not a sweet person, can consider not pouring all the mango sauce to avoid too sweet. Every single ingredient was fresh & nice. Loved the hidden cheesecake in the shaved ice too 🍰 Makes me feel Bingsu w it is a brilliant match 🤩

🔖 Final verdict: Would probably visit here to fix my bingsu craving 😋 Think that it’s pricey at first but the large portion & quality are worth it. Recommend sharing especially if come after meal. The shaved ice was very flavourful, fine, smooth & snowy. Just like melting in one’s mouth immediately 🤤

Perfect spot for a gathering & chitchat with some good desserts. Went here twice but one was during day and the another was during night.

During the day, the shop is bright with sunlight shining from outside, and at night, the shop’s lightning make here a lively & fancy atmosphere. Both create a relaxing vibe ✨

The shop setting concept gives a very relaxing & comfort ambiance ✨ Main dish 🍛 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐠𝐠 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 This time this dish wasn’t disappointed 🔥 Everything was nice w/o being too salty compared to my last visit 🤤 The salted egg flavour might be light but at least it makes the dish xtra delish & aroma! 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐮 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐃𝐨𝐧 The chewy & done-well beef w/ the tomyum sauce was defo the main highlight ⭐️ Superb!
