When writing an Undercurrent piece, I usually comment on the quirky people on board, the screw-up someone makes, and maybe a little conflict. But this trip was devoid of drama. My companions were excellent divers who were not prone to missteps and were friendly and engaging. All went quite smoothly for such an adventure into the Pacific."
