Friends we are looking for potential base camp cooks and/or basecamp help. Please share!

The job setting is at a hunting/guide outfitting base camp. A working horse ranch style operation deep within the Rocky Mountains. There is road access to the ranch with full amenities (electricity and running water, wireless internet, satellite telephone). Family operated, team based environment. Located in northeastern British Columbia approximately 150 miles west of the town Fort Nelson.

Possible Camp Responsibilities:
• daily menu preparation and production strategy.
• preparation of all menu items as needed.
• cleanliness and maintenance of the Kitchen and serving areas.
• replenish baking, desserts and condiments as required.
• ensure proper storage and rotation of all food supplies.
• cleaning and maintaining client amenities
• meat cutting
• staining of base camp buildings

Physical Demands:
successful applicant shall be required to perform a variety of physical duties, including:
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders or stairs.
• Stand, walk, squat, kneel or sit according to task for extended lengths of time.
• Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands.
• Perform work with arms at full length.
• Work with arms above shoulder height.

Work Schedule and Remuneration:
With word of the border opening, we are wanting to be prepared for a full season. We are looking for help to come up beginning of August and leave by October 15, 2021. Work is full time. One may be expected to work weekdays, weekends, and general holidays, as this is a remote camp that operates 7 days a week. Accommodation provided. Additional job specifics, pay details and schedule are discussed at the interview phase.
Successful applicants, depending upon relationship built during first term of employment, could expect re-hire for following seasons.
