My heart is absolutely shattered as I follow the devastating news of the horrific events that unfolded late on New Year’s Eve in New Orleans—a city that holds such a special place in my heart. New Orleans is like no other, with its vibrant soul, rich character, and a culture built by kind, welcoming people who truly know how to celebrate life.

To think that a night meant for joy, hope, and new beginnings was turned into such a tragic and senseless act is beyond heartbreaking. My deepest condolences go out to everyone affected by this terrible event. It’s a stark reminder of life’s fragility and how easily such tragedies can touch any of us.
