Be refreshed by an Irish nun from Israel. Hear Celine Kelly this Sunday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at Evergreen Church.

Celine lives where Mary Magdalene once lived. She has meditated on the women in the life of Jesus for years where Jesus walked. Celine serves as a retreat director of the Magdalena Institute on the Sea of Galilee. At the place were Mary Magdalene was delivered from demons, Celine helps many pilgrims find freedom in Jesus.

In 2009, Celine’s brother Eamon accidentally uncovered a first-century synagogue used by Mary Magdalene and visited by Jesus. Eamon was an Irish nuclear physicist who felt called to serve Jesus as a priest and is now the leader of the Magdalena Institute. Celine ministers with her brother, leading retreats and giving individual spiritual direction to women.

Last summer, I was privileged to sit in the synagogue and hear Celine teach with great insight on the women in Jesus’ life. She dedicates her life to helping others grow in their experience of Jesus.

Celine holds degrees from Anahuac University of Mexico, Pontifical University in Rome, and Loyola University in Chicago.

Merry Christmas from Philip’s House! This is Ilya Butolin from Ashdod, Israel. He will be on tour with the April 6-15 trip in the Galilee, Nazareth, Jerusalem and in Ashdod! Ilya spent a month at Evergreen Church in Bothell Washington volunteering with Christmas lights.

It’s not the Jewish Christmas! Jesus celebrated it. Hanukkah remembers the courage of godly people who stood up against world culture attempting to cancel Bible beliefs. God’s people stood their ground. One day’s supply of oil kept burning for God eight days. Light overcomes darkness!

This snapped a holy moment for me. Five years ago I went to Israel for 3 weeks to follow Philip. His wind-born life set people all over the map on fire. After visiting all the sites where Philip lived, I felt a calling. I dreamed of the day that I could bring people from all over the world to make friends with Israeli believers and study Jesus together. The dream is reality now with Philip’s House. It’s a tour company to connect people in Israel.The first tour is April 6-15. Israel…it’s real.

This is the mountain of the Transfiguration where Jesus glowed with radiant glory on earth as he is now in heaven. My friends and are not taking selfies. They are doing video calls to their wives to include them in their holy moment. Israel is a surprising blend of archaeology and technology.
