Beginning Sep. 9, guests can "enter the grid" and experience TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom either through a standby ("regular") queue OR as a purchased Lightning Lane Single Pass experience. TRON will no longer be available via a Virtual Queue after Sept 8.

Exciting news - New Villains Show Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Summer 2025!

An all-new live production starring everyone's favorite Disney Villains will debut next summer! The show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers, with fiendish foes Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent each breaking through the glass to take the stage in live production numbers.

This new show will replace Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy, so be sure to speed on over to Sunset Showcase at Disney's Hollywood Studios for another lap around the track before it closes October 7.

Reminder: Lightning Lane Changes this Week! ⚡️

On Wed, 7/24, Walt Disney World will introduce Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass, replacing Genie+. Depending on the attraction, both options will allow you to skip the regular lines and access your favorite attractions faster via the Lightning Lane across all four theme parks. Best of all, Disney Resort Guests can make their selections up to 7 days prior to check-in, so you're good to go onsite.

Who loves the Mickey Mouse Jack-o-Lantern Halloween Wreaths at Magic Kingdom? Well, set your alarms….beginning July 22nd, the Disney Store will be selling them for the first time! 🎃

While the magical, twinkling Main Street wreaths are 26 inches wide, the wreaths for sale through the Disney Store will be a bit smaller at 16 inches wide (but still amazing)!

Etsy and other crafty individuals have been trying to replicate this Magic Kingdom fall staple for quite some time, but getting one direct from Disney is super exciting! Who is ready to add this to their home?!

On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names for the Lightning Lane process. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Additional magical updates include:

⚡️Make Lightning Lane plans before you’re here, for added confidence.
⚡️Choose your experiences and times prior to purchasing, so you know what you’re getting.
⚡️Book Lightning Lane passes for multiple vacation days, all in a single day.

Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance.

This we are celebrating National Macaroon Day at Disneyland!

Before you get confused, "macaroons" are "drop" cookies using shredded coconut while "macarons" are sandwich-shaped cookie filled with jam, ganache or buttercream.

You can find the famous Matterhorn Macaroon at the Jolly Holiday Bakery in Disneyland Park. This golden coconut treat is a mountain of goodness, covered in a thick layer of white chocolate. YUM!
