Greece off the beaten path

Remotely Greece is an initiative to promote eco-friendly and responsible tourism to remote, rural, and mountainous villages of Greece, many of them still untouched by the progress of technology and development. Mostly uninhabited and cold during the winter and a refreshing refuge in the summer, they slowly come to life with the onset of spring, primarily by pensioners. Many of them are accessible only by small country dirt roads and usually have one if any convenience/supply stores. They do, however, provide an abundance of clear paths through forests and creeks that connect different villages still in use today.

We offer the opportunity to visit and stay in one of these rural villages through a selection of homes, available for weekly rentals.
