In May of 1988, Napa Valley unveiled the Grape Crusher in celebration of our 150th Anniversary. The iconic Grape Crusher statue welcomes visionaries from near and far in the south . The stoic Grape Crusher is an ode to the Napa Valley's antiquity and humility in our art of hospitality and winemaking.

The statue was casted by artist Gino Miles of Santa Fe, New Mexico over the course of 10 months. The bronze sculpture was delivered by truck in 137 pieces and assembled by welding processes. The Grape Crusher weighs in at 6,000 pounds and stands about 15 feet tall with views overlooking the Napa Valley.
