✨💭✨ Let’s daydream for a quick sec... The air is filled with the combined aroma of fresh popcorn 🍿 and peppermint, 🎶holiday music is playing as you make your way through the parks surrounded by twinkling lights, festive decor ☃️, and of course ALL the seasonal snacks🧁! Boy, does that iconic 🏰 Disneyland charm hit just a bit different (in the best way) from Walt Disney World at the holidays. There’s just something about Christmastime that makes our hearts ache a little for the past, and Disneyland somehow (magically) exudes an air of nostalgia while simultaneously feeling brand new! ✨

If you’ve been thinking about making the trek out west to see Walt’s original park, there’s no better time than the holiday season 🌟. Pickles aren’t just for sandwiches; they’re a Christmas tradition too! 🥒 In Germany, families hide a pickle ornament on their Christmas tree 🎄. The first person to find it on Christmas morning gets an extra present from Old Saint Nick 🎅. What a fun way to get everyone to take a good look at all the ornaments on the tree while adding a little extra pixie dust ✨ to the holiday festivities!

At Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, children can write and mail letters to Santa Claus! Everything needed—paper, crayons, and a mailbox—is provided ✏️📬. This is one of those touches that just makes a person fall in love with the Disney magic! ✨

If you’re a parent or grandparent, you know how incredibly fast these years fly by ❤️. When they handwrite that letter, believing with all their hearts… aaaaah…that’s a memory you’ll hold onto forever! Take all the pictures! 📸 Who grew up writing to Santa? 🎅✨

Yes, it happens around the same time, but it's a two-day holiday all about celebrating life and remembering loved ones—nothing spooky about it! 💀✨ EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion does such a nice job blending culture with a fun, family-friendly, and familiar (Coco) vibe . Even if you’re just walking inside to get to the Gran Fiesta Tour attraction, it’s hard not to be drawn to the visually stunning ofrenda 🕯️, ornate decor, unique merchandise, or turning yourself into a skeleton in the 🪞Mirror de Mu***os!

Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America, and Princess Cruises are family. BUT, and it’s a big one, just because there are connections doesn’t mean that all cruise lines are created equally.

🎢 Okay, we all know that Walt Disney World is more about the magic than the thrill rides… but let’s be real, some of those rides pack a punch and can definitely leave you feeling a little woozy! Whether it’s the spinning, the drops, or that unexpected motion (looking at you, backward section of Expedition Everest 🏔️), there are a few that get even the best of us. 😅

For me, it's the teacups. I can handle MOST spinning rides, but that one... whew. Although to be fair, I've never tried Mission Space and I have no desire to! 🫣
