This hotel is fantastic and is within walking distance of the airport. A great hotel if you have an early or late flight.

I stayed in this hotel last year and the service was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities.
Restaurant on site for that cheeky Gin before your trip 😁
My flight was early morning and the staff packed me a continental breakfast to take away.

How to be safe whilst travelling alone tips and advice!

🏧Budget!
Set yourself a budget, shop around from package holidays to doing things separately.
We as independent travel agents will advise you on whether it's best to get flights separately.

🌍sky scanner is great for picking out different flights with different companys.

🌍Travel insurance is a must and make sure any sports is covered within the insurance.

🌍Arrange transport to the airport or book airport parking ahead of travel.

🌍Pack light, cheaper if you just take hand luggage. 40cm x30cm x20cm.

🌍Roll clothing, it makes more space.

🌍Phone charger is a must and try not to use your mobile too much before travelling that day. You need plenty of battery the other side.

🌍download e ticket on your phone rather than paper. Better for the environment.

🌍Check passport has at least 6 months on the expiry date.

🌍Inform family members where you will be staying and flight details and check in with them once landed and arriving at destination.

🌍 Take only a small amount of currency with you as the exchange rate is so high. Withdraw money out there. Plus this is much safer as you don't want to carry lots of money.

🌍Remember ladies no fluids over 100ml, you can always buy it out there.

🌍Camera: Take pictures to remind you of your special trip.

My solo trip was Vienna last christmas, my first one. It was magical! The only downside was self check in through an app. My battery died and I was stuck outside in the snow -6 degrees. I took a breath and waited 5 minutes turned the phone on again and it gave me enough to get into the apartment. From them on I used the key 🗝

🌍Don't be afraid, have confidence in yourself and enjoy. 🥂

Have you got everything you need before you travel? 🤔

Make your holiday stress free and plan ahead.

Here are some helpful tips to prepare for your getaway. 🛳✈

Prior to travel:
🛩 take out some travel insurance, make sure that it covers everything you need. If your an active person and are planning to do sports outdoors make sure that it is covered on your insurance.

🛩Passport- make sure you have at least 6 months on your passport. If not it will be worth renewing.

🛩Airport parking - shop around and see what suits you best and the best value. Most have shuttle buses.

🛩 Car check on travelling to airport- Have you enough screen wash, checked the tyres and oil?

🛩luggage allowance - Do you need to take everything and the kitchen sink? Who actually uses all the clothes they pack. I used to take a 20kg case but only found i wore a few things in the evening as was in swimwear during the day. Baggage can increase the cost and takes time at baggage check in. Is it worth thinking about a carry on bag?

🛩Check the weight of your luggage before travelling to save embarrassment of taking things out at the airport.

🛩Put any medication in your hand luggage and a spare set of clothes and underwear encase your luggage goes a stray.

🍬🍭🍭Have you sweets for the flight? Chewing helps prevent your ears from popping. Also taking food from home to eat is much cheaper than buying at the airport or on the plane. Sandwiches are great.

🛩Tickets and passport ✅
🛩 All family members present ✅
🛩 luggage and hand luggage checked that there are no pets that wanted to join you 🐈🐱
🛩Drivers licence if you have a hire car.
🛩Remember no fluids over 100ml and fluids need to be in a clear plastic bag.
🛩No sharps in your hand luggage.
🛩Keep all your fluids and electrical items towards the top of your hand luggage ready for security.

✈Babies and children - Breastfeed or bottle feed your baby this helps with the popping of their ears and comforts them.
✈iPads come in handy for children to watch during take off to distract them, so dont forget headphones.
✈Sit back and enjoy your flight as your dream holiday is at the other end. 🎉🎉🎉
