We have only gone and done it again! Superhost, 3 times in a row. It is really hard work making sure the Cottage is perfect for each snd every guest with those extra little touches. Thank you to all of our lovely guests.

Britain's best market 2023! Amazing. I just love popping up to Shrewsbury for their indoor market. So many beautiful, interesting stalls. So pleased such a diverse and hard working bunch of fabulous people have won.

We are very lucky to live so close to the famous Ludlow Racecourse which is a thoroughbred horse racing venue located in Bromfield near Ludlow, Shropshire, England. One of the oldest courses in the country Ludlow stages National Hunt racing however originally flat racing was held there. The Hurdles course is just over one and a half miles round with 6 hurdles per circuit. Dickens Cottage is only a mile away from the Racecourse and sleeps 7.

Nothing better than a woodburning stove and a good reading book. Rest and relax in the Shropshire countryside in a half timbered cottage. Lots of dog walks, pubs and independent shopping in the surrounding market towns.

This was a Christmas present hand made by my dad decades ago for me. It is in the guest bedroom for all of our little guests to play with at Dickens Cottage. While I was away at University it went into storage. Just like the Beatrix potter story a little mouse must have disliked the bedroom wallpaper as it was stripped. Now I have my own children it was renovated again. It is well loved and has given me so much joy. Happy Christmas everyone.

It's looking a lot like Christmas at Dickens Cottage. Christmas tree is up, wreaths hung and rooms decorated. Love this time of year.

The temperature is about to drop. The children were promised a white Christmas last year. Popsey and Grand-J turned their dreams into a reality with a snow bubble machine. We did have a white Christmas after all. Cuddle up next to the fire and listen to some Christmas tunes, certainly feeling very Christmassy.
