The Kentucky Derby is such a celebrated event . It started in 1875, inspired by the Epsom Derby in England, and quickly became the premier event for horse racing enthusiasts. So how did the hats come into play ? In the early days, high society would turn out for the race, and it became a place to be seen in the latest and most extravagant styles. Women wearing large and in charge hats became a symbol of good luck and a nod to the event's elegance and grandeur. It's like a parade of style and sophistication, with each hat telling its own story! 🏇💃

Happy National Rosie the Riveter Day !!!!!

Rosie the Riveter is an iconic symbol of female empowerment and American grit. During World War II, as men left their jobs to fight overseas, women stepped up to fill those roles, especially in factories and shipyards. Rosie represented those women, rocking a red bandana and flexing an arm muscle under the slogan "We Can Do It!" She became a beacon of strength, inspiring many to push past traditional gender roles and take on work that was once considered men's territory.

Now, Rosie the Riveter Day is a celebration of that legacy. It's observed on March 21st to honor the contributions and advances women have made in the workforce and beyond. It's a day to remember the power of determination and the importance of equal opportunities for all. Plus, it's a chance to reflect on how far we've come since those days and the work that still needs to be done for gender equality. So cool, right? 😄
