History Lovers, let’s talk 5th Century Renaissance Architecture! There are many notable architects in Florence during this period but today we are going to discuss Filippo Brunelleschi, who many consider a founding father of Renaissance Architecture.

Born in Florence in 1377 he began utilizing his artistic skills as a sculptor with his first five sculptures being produced in 1401. “By using the optical and geometric principles upon which Brunelleschi’s perspective devices were based, the artists of his generation were able to produce works of astonishing realism” stated Isabelle Hyman from the Britannica, referenced below.

🍋🍋 Amalfi Coast Lemons 🍋🍋

Otherwise known as the Sfusato Amalfitano, these sweet and juicy fleshed lemons are famous for a few reasons!

These coastal lemons are used in food, liquors unique to Italy and they are even used to add a sweet citrus aroma to homes! Amalfi Lemons are also super sized, being almost double size of normal lemons, spreading their aroma for miles around! The nearby mountains aid the lemons by blocking the damaging winds and allowing them to be strong when soaking up the Italian sun and sea breeze! But you don’t have to take our word for it! 😉 🇮🇹
