Home sweet home!

Our last Day on the road until we join up again with the Heber crew! I just had to take a moment to think about all the amazing things these girls learned on their trip.

Not only were these girls amazing for the long hours in the car but they were great adventurers! They have officially mastered putting up a giant tent! They are pros at sleeping anywhere and everywhere and seem to be comfortable no matter what we throw at them.

Madeline learned how to fully jump ( amazing and terrifying for mom and dad😆). Her vocabulary and communication skills are through the roof! Be ready grandparents!!! She didn't love the ocean but she quickly got comfortable in every pool we were in. She is ready for summer!

Etta showed Madeline how to be tough through every boo boo. She also showed Jessica how to jump the waves. With every wave that hit her, she would wipe her face and then yell "FURTHER!!!" She is also the best nature hunter I've met. She spotted tadpoles in a small creek and so many flowers and seeds! She also taught Jess about litter and protecting the earth.

All in all this will be the first of many adventures!

Living our best life at THE BEACH! Our beach house is amazingly perfect. It is a 15min walk to the ocean. The girls loved playing in our "pool". Turns out the one we bought is a bit bigger than we thought so we are going to keep it low for the girls.

The best part of the trip has been watching these munchkins look out for each other. Etta has been taking great care of Maddie!

Oh, and did I mention... we got to watch a rocket launch!

Day 3 was quite the event! The girls had a great time visiting the beach for the first time at Amelia Island! The waves were high so we only got our legs wet. The girls were pro shell finders in no time! The wind was a bit heavy so we didn't stay long. We had to get to our hotel and get ourselves ready to pick up the Dad's at the airport the next day.

This morning we woke up early and picked up the Dad's. Our car needed a little TLC (new calipers and break pads). We have been having a blast hanging out but are ready to get to our beach house!!!!
