🌊✨ Pre-Book Your Ticket to Suðuroy! ✨🌊

🚢 Starting Monday, July 8th, you can pre-book your car ticket with the ferry Smyril to and from Suðuroy. Please note, passengers pay on board! 🌄✨

🛳️ Embark on a mini-cruise within the Faroe Islands. On your journey, you'll sail up close to Streymoy, Nólsoy, Sandoy, Stóra Dímun, Lítla Dímun, and Suðuroy, with breathtaking views of other islands in the distance. 🏞️🌅

🍽️ Relax on board, plan your Suðuroy adventure, or enjoy a delicious meal. And guess what? It only takes two hours!

BREAKING: The Strike is Over 👏 As of May 14th four major workers’ unions in the Faroe Islands went on strike, for 28 days the strike lasted and we are delighted that both parties have reached an agreement 🤝

This marks a fresh start for the upcoming season. Services and activities will soon be back in full swing, bringing a wave of positivity to the Faroe Islands. We’re thrilled to welcome you all for a memorable visit and thank you dearly for your patience 🙏

What does this mean for your visit?
- All things will go back to normal over the next few days
- Fuel will be available tomorrow, if not already now on Sunday the 9th.
- Staff will go back to work and all will reopen tomorrow Monday, June 10th.
- Thank you all for your patience, creativity and support, we wish you all a happy journey to the Faroe Islands.

🌟Last autumn, Vágur embarked on a remarkable art project, resulting in the creation of cozy sitting mats made from local sheep wool. 🐑 The wool underwent a transformation through felting, laser cutting, and meticulous folding, culminating in the creation of beautiful mats. 🍂
Perfect for outdoor use, these mats allow you to immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Suðuroy. 🌳⛰️
Guess what? You can now freely rent these unique sitting mats from the tourist center in Vágur! The only "fee" is sharing your adventure by penning a short story in the sitting mats' diary. 📖 Let your experiences inspire fellow visitors!
