THE GLOW WAS REAL YALL! Literally!
There are only five oceans IN THE WORLD with bioluminescence water!! Guess what? Puerto Rico has three of them:

Mosquito Bay
•
Laguna Grande
•
La Parguera
•
Natural preserved environments with the richest elements/ and nutrients! Not to mention the dinoflagellates, which are tiny micro organisms that cause the water to glow so bright at night. They are very equivalent to fire flies, only they live in water and need the perfect moist, warm environment to survive.
When I tell you all—It was magical, I mean like it was MAGICAL! I’ll shut up though! You’ll just have to see for yourself!

THE UNKNOWN. Did we talk about this already?! Well let me tell you!!
During my trip to Puerto Rico, I learned about my fears and where it stems from... the lack of trusting myself and the process.
I was in the ocean, floating in the waves when I realized this. I was afraid because I had no idea what was beneath the water. Or if I could no longer feel the ground, would that mean I could drown if the waves over powered me? All these doubts about about my ability to overcome and survive!
I met fearless and beautiful at my hostel who is also on one of the same life stages and journeys that I am on too. As we (just two solo women traveling and experiencing the goodness of life) were both floating in the big blue ocean, she helped me to realize that overcoming my fears means to trust—that in the process I AM ABLE AND CAPABLE. That with wisdom and caution, I become receptive to nature, allowing myself to delve deeper into its mysteries. And because I am already equipped with natural abilities to survive them, I must allow my mind to meet me where I am PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY CAPABLE! That we may not always be in control of the Dao (or the flow/ nature of the universe), but with the things we do have control of, I must trust myself to make proper judgement and wise decisions. To be able to move with discipline, receptive to my emotions, my heart and energy, which is in favor of me, body, mind and soul.
It made me think even more that what we think the worst of the worst of in life is FAR from what it actually is. A lot of what happens to us are forms of manifestation. Therefore I must redirect my thoughts and energy.
Similarly, most of us can apply this concept to our daily lives. We are often afraid of the unknown— or what I would call a source of our own mindful imagination or illustrated illusions.
Moral of the story, I survived whatever I thought I was afraid of... the unknown. And guess what?
I’m still here! So what was there to be afraid of? I feel like I’m ready to take on the world!
An EMPOWERING travel group that challenges you and brings the best out of you— not to mention the ones who are down for anything? — Literally...

Groups are sometimes challenging because it requires flexibility, patience, understanding! When you got that group that matches with the journey you’re on, you share similarities in interests, stories and you end up producing such a beautiful, inspiring, adventurous, and exciting trip!

Solo travel can be scary sometimes, all for the reasons of why we feel we may need people to fill a particular void.
However, these are (to name a few) reasons why solo travel is so empowering! As solo travelers, we become self-reliant on making the most out of our trip regardless if anyone is accompanying us or not!
Sounds a lot like life right?
That is because it is! Solo travel forces you into taking the steps to step out of that comfort zone!
You know who you aspire to become and if he or she looks anything like boldness, courage, wholesomeness, peace, joy, and fun! Then solo travel is the friend you want to attract!

FEMININITY. Why is apart of my journey of self-exploration?
Let me break it down this way..

I am resting in my power as a woman to explore me and discover hidden and innate wonders both inside and outside of me— those wonders of which I’m also surrounded by.
I used to be self-conscious and afraid to express myself innately because of what I thought the world would think of me.
I felt limited to expressing my sexuality, embracing my natural curves and body because I was taught not to, although it has always been apart of me. So I did what I thought would save me from the judgement, from the rejection— I hid.
But then, the divine feminine in me said, “No more!” I am more than what the world would ever expect me to be.
I am not who they say I am. I am who I believe myself to be. I validate me.
I am empowering every woman to validate themselves too!
Woman, I see you. Give yourself permission to be you, unapologetically. From your sexy curves to your gentle heart to your fire ambition, to your strength and resilience, to your pain and endurance! I see you sis! Go explore and channel your beauty!
There’s much to see in this world! But the world also needs to see more of you!!
