The 8th Annual Trail Hero is a weeklong event with 5 days of guided trails, a golf tourney, parties, music concerts, and more with a family orientated atmosphere in Southern Utah October 2-7, 2023. We have made some awesome changes and additions that you will not want to miss! Come for one day, come for the whole week! This is one event with lots of memories! COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND CHARIT

This is what it’s all about! We are here with a major focus on how to help our community support the needs of our Veterans who fought for our freedoms and give special needs children and adults access to public lands, Our vehicles are their legs, an extension of their body, giving them the ability to enjoy the beauty of our lands through motorized access. NEW! TRAIL HERO MUSIC FEST
Our lake front, open air, venue will leave you wanting to put your toes in the sand or park your 4WD vehicle, in the drive-in section, while enjoying live music under the stars. Three Day Concert passes will be available soon, check back June 1st. SAND HOLLOW 4-WHEEL DRIVE MECCA FOR OFF-ROADING ENTHUSIASTS
To understand this event, you must first look at the world class facility of Sand Hollow, in Hurricane, Utah. It is a mecca for 4-wheel drive enthusiasts and offers:

- Thousands of all-access, off-road acreage embedded with trails ranging from Mild to Wild
- The only location that entails a 5 star resort retreat complete with 18 hole golf course, villas, a restaurant, and services.
- Lake access year-round
- Both dry and wet camping facilities
- Very off-road friendly City of Hurricane, only 3 miles away all make this a prime location. ROCKIN GOLF TOURNAMENT ON A CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE FOR CHAIRTY
Trail Hero will host the seventh annual Rockin Golf Tourney at Sand Hollow Resort benefiting 4Wheel to Heal. We had a blast last year, and encourage anyone to join in, participate, heckle.... let’s just say it’s not your average golf tourney:

- Play the 18-hole Championship course with a shotgun start
- Access to the driving range and putting green
- Additional challenges for participants to win prizes. TRAIL RIDING, & ROCK CRAWLING, & LIVE MUSIC OH MY!!! Trail Hero concentrates on a 5-day Trail Ride that is designed to keep the entertainment flowing. After the trails are done for the day, participants can take part, or watch, our afternoon activities that include:

- Attempting to conquer the Amateur Rock Crawl event
- Break new ground on the hardest trail in the country at the Trail Breaker
- Party at the beach with slip-n-slide and grab a snow cone while hanging out at the nightly bon fire. CHARITABLE & FREE VENDOR SHOW AND ACTIVITES
Trail Hero showcases trail rides, rock crawling events, and a high speed Rock Race, but also ties together the industry with a very formidable vendor show that features:

- Charitable Raffles - Charitable donations accepted by 4Wheel to Heal, and Hero For A Day.
- Live Music
- On-site catering and food vendors
- World Class Vendor Expo featuring your favorite manufacturers from across the country
- Closing Ceremonies Conert Celebration! Simply put, no single event has ever had every aspect of our sport on one platform until now!

Every off road driver at Trail Hero needs to take a minute to complete this 10 minute off road drivers permit. This is mandatory to complete once in your lifetime. If you have already done this, there is no need to do it a second time. If pulled over for other issues, officers will ask if you have completed this program. Please take a minute to complete this prior to arrival.

Don’t forget to get your Non-Resident OHV Permit. If you are from out of state and drive a non-street legal vehicle from your state, you will need this $35 permit. We also suggest you complete the Utah Off-Highway Vehicle Education Course. Go to this link for more info:

First timer? Here is how to Trail Hero! Let us know if it’s your first time? According to our numbers 61% are new to the event this year 🫨 so what to expect?You MUST go to one of our Registration sites before you can jump on trails. We close online registration for trails September 15th. Additionally, we will have On Location Registration at Sand Hollow Resort for the RideDog Kick Off Party Monday September 30th at 5pm and every morning of the event from 7am to 10am. All Trail Riders registering the first time for trails at the On Location Registration will pay $70 per trail per vehicle. Please tell your friends of this vital change. Lastly, All Trail Riders MUST show up to one of our On Location Registrations to sign waivers and collect event passes. If you do not, you will pay park entry and not be reimbursed. Once you have gone through registration, it’s time to get onto the trails. Head for the trail line ups or to your trail departure location. Enjoy your trails! They will take roughly 4-5 hours to complete. Tons of bypasses in case things get a little too western 🤨Once you are done with trails, head over the the Free Motorsports events to enjoy watching to pros, or head over to the Vendor Show which features over 220 companies featuring some of the BEST show discounts and special pricing thanks to RealTruck’s Power Hour!Once that is over, head to the Trail Hero Music Fest, or one of our nightly events! ⬇️Meet part of the team! The Motorsports Crew ⬇️ There are a TON of people behind the scenes of Trail Hero, this is the Motorsports Crew. They are responsible for building all of the motorsports events that are hosted throughout the week of Trail Hero. Whether is is the @fabfoursinc Trail Breaker Qualifier, the @maxxistires Roxxilla SXS Shootout, the @bfgoodrichtires Trail Breaker, or the @werocklive Rock Crawl; they bust their @$$ to make sure you all get the best motorsports entertainment. Our Story

Coming October 1st-5th to Southern Utah is the only event in 2 decades of rock sports history to place all aspects of our great sport into one picturesque/powerhouse location. This event will have quite a few very defining features that will bring in a broad interest on multiple levels. To understand this event, you must first look at the world class facility of Sand Hollow, in Hurricane, Utah. Offering thousands of all access off-road acreage embedded with trails ranging from Mild to Wild; Sand Hollow also offers the only location that entails a 5 star resort retreat complete with 18 hole golf course, villas, off-road rentals, and services. Along with lake access year round, both dry and wet camping facilities, and the very off-road friendly City of Hurricane, only 3 miles away make this a prime location. Trail Hero will host a Charitable Raffle conducted and collected by Utah 4Wheel Drive Association during the event, as well as 4 days of trail rides on 82 trails for stock Jeeps, Buggies, and UTV’s. This Trail Ride is designed to keep the entertainment flowing for participants with the ability to watch or take part in various features throughout the week. After the trails are done for the day, riders can conquer “Bounty” obstacles, break new ground on the hardest trail in the country, capture a night Rock Crawl competition, showcase a high speed Endurance Race, and tie together the industry with a very formidable vendor show that features charitable raffles, live music, onsite catering, car show, and Closing Ceremonial Film of the event. Furthermore, Trail Hero will also feature the first ever Rock Sports Gala on the greens of Sand Hollow Resort. Simply put, no single event has ever had every aspect of our sport on one platform until now, all while being FREE to Spectators. Charitable donations accepted by Utah Public Lands Alliance and Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association.
