George Square is the principal square in Glasgow and holds 12 statues of some of the UK's most prominent historical figures. The square is located in Glasgow's City Centre and it is home to Glasgow City Council's Headquarters. Besides the 12 statues, George Square also holds the Glasgow City Cenotaph to commemorate those who defended their country during the First and Second World Wars

The Barrowland Ballroom is one of Glasgow's premiere concert venues. It is well renowned for its rowdy atmosphere and stellar acoustics. The Barras is located in the Gallowgate area of Glasgow City Centre and is famous for its neon "Barrowland" sign. The venue had held host to some of the world's most popular musical acts, including Oasis and Blur.
