just opening the cabin here at Falls Melody. The water is high this year, makes for a beautiful falls. We will be doing the spring cleaning, and some upgrades before the first guests arrive this year.

I Hate to have missed the rhododendron, but at least we won’t feel so bad trimming them back this year.

we have had lots of rain this winter so the falls is really larger than usual. We also have baby birds, one nest on the side of the house, and another in the grill. Not the best location, but I did not have the heart to push them out!

Morning temperatures in the 60's this week, and highs in the 80's, what a break from Tallahassee. A few leaves are starting to show fall color.
