Heading home still reminiscing about the fantastic packed week we had with our terrific small-group of guests in Vienna, Austria and Strasbourg. France - two of Europe’s very best places for Christmas Markets!
Visiting & shopping in many many Christmas Markets… tasting holiday foods & drinks… seeing sites and leaning about history & culture… having baking workshops… staying in luxury boutique hotels… having delicious local cuisine meals.

🎅🏻 Day 6 - WalkEurope’s Christmas Markets Tour.
Our last full day visiting Christmas Markets.
Out early from Strasbourg for day trip visiting 3 special Alsace towns/villages - Colmar, Riquewihr & Selestat (birthplace of the Christmas tree) with our two terrific local driver guides, Pierre & Jean.
Then back to Strasbourg for a gala farewell dinner at a traditional winestub.

🎅🏻 Day 5 - WalkEurope’s Christmas Markets Tour.
What an incredible Dec 6 Saint Nicolas Day we had in Europe’s most magnificent Christmas Markets city, Strasbourg, France!
Started with a specially arranged baking class with Chef Pierre for WalkEurope guests… a boat ride city tour on the scenic Ill River… hot chocolate break (yum!)… history & Christmas Markets city walking tour with our lovely & informative local guide… afternoon holiday shopping time for Alsatian locally-made products… ending with a delicious French/Alsatian dinner.
Wow.. what a wonderful day!

🎅🏻 Day 1 - Yay! WalkEurope’s Christmas Markets Tour has begun!
Excited to be in beautiful & Christmas spirted Vienna, Austria with a great group of guests from CA and TX!
Started with a delicious welcome dinner of traditional Viennese cuisine: Austrian fruit digestive aperitif… wiener schnitzel, pork & dumplings, seasonal goose with red cabbage… and apfelstrudel & sachertorte chocolate cake. Yum!
Afterwards visiting nearby Stephansplatz Christmas Market for a “red boot mug” of hot glühwein and for some Christmas decorations browsing & shopping.
What a fun week this is going to be!
