I don’t know what I did deserve this good karma but Catalina Cabana - Vacation Rental still stands! Losing the pool cage was not at all a surprise. But so far nothing major broken other than some soffits/fascia, gutters/downspouts, the pool cage and lanai. LOTS to clean up and inspect and hope to do that when waters recede more. Thank you to Michael Manwell and Amy Sullivan Manwell for braving the roads to go put my mind at ease. So far all of my friends are safe and are starting cleanup.

Ever hear of the ? Built in 1979, humans lived in them and were actually standing on land until erosion cut off that land and eventually over took it. Only accessible by boat now and inhabited by wildlife, it definitely should be on everyone’s bucket list to see. (They say the ecosystem found there rivals the Great Barrier Reef!) Only about an hours drive south in beautiful , you can get a 2 hour excursion with a great outfitter, , and it includes a stop to on a sandbar! You will also see many birds and possibly dolphins or stingrays jumping!
