As I watch this burning wesak lantern, I'm reminded of the beautiful uncertainty of life.

Our journey is filled with unknowns. We can't predict what will come to our lives next. The lantern lit so bright in the night and in the next moment it burnt so fast leaving nothing.

Anawilundawa Wetland Sanctuary situated between Chilaw and Puttalam towns of Sri Lanka. This is one of Sri Lanka’s designated Wetlands of International Importance named under “Ramsar Sites”. The sanctuary is consisted of three distinct eco-systems: the forest wetlands; the freshwater lakes and coast’s saltwater ecosystem which is rich in biodiversity. This wetland has become the habitat for various species of birds, butterflies, reptiles, fish and mammals.
