The Nepal Earthquakes of 2015 shattered the classrooms and buildings of Khagendra Vocational School for the Disabled. At the time, it was devastating. Wind the clock on 7 years and it has become a blessing. That global immersion built them an entire brand. But of course, 'bricks and mortar' won't make this school, not when some students can't even pick up a pencil. That's why one of GI’s current projects is to advance their library. They need shelving, recording systems, desks, laptops, books to read and from which to learn. YOUR GENEROSITY WILL FUND A COMPREHENSIVE LIBRARY. Then there are technologies that can accelerate their learning and allow teachers to be more effective.
GI have a long way to go, but as this story tells you it does demonstrate, they are loving the journey with them. Please join me as I join GI in October 2024 . Your contribution is so so valuable.
