Just saw another amazing show onboard Valiant Lady! Last night was Dual Reality - which had the most fun surprise for me right at the beginning of the show - and tonight was Itโs a Ship Show dinner AND a show! I love that all specialty dining is part of the package with Virgin Voyages so Iโve been able to experience such a variety of foods and activities over the past few days. Keep an eye out for more on this voyage!!

I posted a few weeks ago that I was able to take a day trip to Orlando with my bestie, but never shared the details! Keep reading for my breakdown and thoughts about our trip ๐
A day trip has been on our want-to-do list for a while now, and when I saw same day round trip airfare for $75pp, I thought now is a good of a time as any to just do it! I booked our tickets, and Bestie handled the car rental and parking details.
We both have TSA Pre-check, and were about a 10 min drive from our departing airport so set our alarms for 545 to catch our 733am flight. We got to the gate with enough time to backtrack for coffee ๐
We landed in Orlando just before 10am, picked up the rental car and arrived at the Disney Outlet on Vineland right after opening. From there, we headed for Old Key West Resort to grab brunch. This was my first time visiting OKW, and I have to say it certainly has charm. The resort vibe is very relaxed, IMO, and lunch at Oliviaโs was fantastic. We shared a bourbon sweet tea, shrimp cocktail with tropical slaw, hush puppies with key lime mustard, the crab cake eggs Benedict, and we couldnโt visit without finishing our meal with a slice of key lime pie! I recommend checking out Oliviaโs if you get the chance.
While at OKW, we toured the resort and pool and even got to join in on some resort activities. I was so excited to learn that it was Mickey Tye Dye day and finally got to make my own ๐ฅฐ
We then stopped at the Disney Outlet on International on our way to return the rental and catch our flight home.
Would I do a park day on a same day trip? Probably not, but for a quick Disney fix, Disney Springs, Disney Outlet or trying that resort restaurant that always seems to get left off the itinerary when planning park days - I would 100% do this again. We had an amazing day and so much fun!!
