Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comforts of home. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things. -air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky. ❤️
My friends and I opted to hitch-hike at around 7pm while returning from the trek( we got late, rather we had no option ) which is a lot of risk that you're willing to take if you're in the hills. The locals there in Shojha aren't always ready to offer a lift but seeing us girls ( me and my friend ) they were ready to drop us back down! It was so kind of that person that he let us get into his truck! The only thing he said to my friend was that if it hadn't been the girls with you, I wouldn't have stopped because it's risky for them too as the tourists that come there, they misbehave, steal their money/ things/ belongings...which is quite sad. We travel for our leisure to their home, their place of living and the experience they get is sickening. We should act as responsible tourists/ travellers!
