Character meet and greets - social distancing style at Universal!
✨If you haven’t heard already, Disney World has a date of reopening!! Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will be opening up on Thursday, July 11th while Hollywood Studios and Epcot will later follow suit on Wednesday, July 15th! 👏🏻👏🏻 as exciting as it is, they will be spreading Magic a little differently for the health and safety of all.✨
▪️Face masks will be required for ALL guests over the age of 2
▪️They will be operating parks at a significantly lower capacity
▪️There will be temperature checks before entry to the parks
▪️They will be pausing fireworks, parades, character meet and greets, and other shows that draw crowds (😢)
▪️They are creating a NEW reservation system and have temporarily stopped all future Disney reservations (to me, it sounds like this may be a first come first serve type of reservation system but more details to come within the next month)
As different as some of new protocols will be, it’s necessary to get back to what it was! If we all do our part, hopefully the sooner we can get back to that!
Disney will be able to create magic again and there are cast members who are able to return to work now! This is SUCH a good thing ✨

Today officially marks the beginning of the phased reopening of Disney Springs! Our Cast Members are so excited to begin welcoming Guests back to Walt Disney World and we can’t help but share their enthusiasm.
As always, the safety and well-being of our Guests, Cast Members and third-party Operating Participants are top of mind, so there are a number of new operational changes and safety measures for all who are planning a visit.

As per Bob Chapek- It will be a phased approach, limited attendance, advanced reservations, government-required procedures, strict social distancing guidelines, etc. UPDATE- Shanghai Disneyland is at capacity with 80,000. Chapek said less than 24,000 will be let in, as they limit capacity.

I have been slacking on these due to the stress of life right now 😅 but back at it!!
While being at Disney, it is inevitable that you will be on your phone a lot! Whether it’s taking pictures, looking at the map, checking wait times, using your phone as hotel key, etc. It is going to drain your battery but there are ways to help save some!
1. Buy a portable charger and make sure to charge it every night and take it with you to the parks!
2. Take a screenshot of your plans (fastpasses, dining reservations) on your My Disney Experience App for the day and make it your lock screen on your phone to prevent you from unlocking it so much and draining more of your battery!!
That battery life is important! You need to capture those precious memories ❤️

Stay on Walt Disney World Resort property!!! I will admit I was looking at staying off property our next trip because I thought it might be less money but I was wrong and here’s why!
- you receive complimentary transportation to and from MCO (Orlando International Airport AND Disney can take your bags from baggage claims straight to your hotel room! So you will just get off your plane and onto the bus with no hassle 😎 **no need to rent a car**
- you also receive complimentary transportation to and from Disney parks! Depending where you stay, you might have multiple transportation options! Forms of transportation include busses, monorail, boats, and the new Skyliner! 😍 **no paying for parking at the parks**
- you receive extra hours in the parks!! This could be early in the morning or after parks close! It is an amazing opportunity for resort guests! 👍
- 60 day in advance FastPass+ reservations!!! FastPass+ allows you to reserve 3 rides at one park each day of your trip with hardly no waiting in line! **If you stay off property it’s only 30 days I’m advance and if you are trying to get on a very popular/new ride, chances are you might not be able to get a FastPass+ for it!**🤯
- the option of having discounts/free dining!!! If you book your trip for a more expensive price and a deal is released that would make your trip cheaper or add free dining, Disney will honor the discount or the free dining!! 👏🏻👏🏻
So many perks to staying on property!! It’s hard to beat! ✨

I am going to start a ‘Tip Tuesday’ here on my travel page! I’m hoping it will help benefit you for your vacation! ☺️
So to start us off, this Tip Tuesday is:
USE A TRAVEL AGENT!!
Reasons to use a travel agent:
1. Our services are free to you! The vendor you book through pays us, you do not!
2. We want to help you find the best vacation for you for the best price! If a new promotion is released and makes your vacation cheaper, we will be on the look out AND change that for you!
3. We will save you time and energy! If you don’t use a travel agent, you will spend time on the phone waiting for a representative to pick up. We are also your single point of contact throughout the time before you travel to the time you are home from your vacation! Some travel agents (like myself) have designated phone lines allowing them to contact vendors for you, quickly and efficiently!
4. We are very knowledgeable in what we do! There’s no need to stress, we will take care of researching, reservations, traveling plans, etc. for you! This is a vacation you’re planning...time to relax! 😎

Throwback week! Day 5!!
On day 5 we headed to Animal Kingdom!! It was such a beautiful day out. The weather was perfect! We got to dance with some characters and even ran into Kevin 😍 she’s probably my favorite character “meet and greet!” She mostly strolls through the park and does her own thing but she will come up to you and wave her little wings at you!

Our favorite part about that day (mostly mine and Olivia’s 😉) was meeting TheTimTracker!!! We watch his and his wife’s videos religiously and have learned so much from them! At this point, we were closer to the end of our vacation and were giving up hope to meeting him at the parks! We had just gotten out of the finding Nemo show and was walking to Yak and Yeti...and there he was!! It was perfect timing and something we will always remember! ❤️

Two of the best things at Animal Kingdom are Yak and Yeti’s Ahi Tuna Nachos 😋😋 and Flight of Passage!! Flight of Passage is a ride in the land of Pandora where you ride on the back of a banshee and it truly feels like you are flying!

TIP: if you make early breakfast reservations at Magic Kingdom you can get into the park before anyone else can!! This makes for great pictures AND if you’re done eating in time, you can catch some normally busy rides fairly quickly 👏🏻

Magic Kingdom is probably our favorite park as a family because there is just so much to do for ALL of us! We were all able to ride so many rides and for the rides Charlee and Ben weren’t able to ride, we could get rider switch passes allowing each Ryan and myself to ride the bigger rides with Olivia. It was a win-win for her because then she could ride the rides twice in a row!

Festival of Fantasy is one of Magic Kingdom’s daily parade and it does not disappoint!! I love watching the kids reactions to it all and there were even some characters that came up to talk to us which made it extra special!! ❤️
Throw back week! Day 3!!
The first park we traveled to on our Disney vacation was Hollywood Studios!! We were so excited to go as they had just added Toy Story Land and we have some Toy Story fans in our family 😉
We were all able to ride Toy Story Mania and Ben was only 7 months old at this time! I couldn’t do much shooting because I was holding onto Ben but it was well worth it! One of the must do’s at Hollywood Studios is the Frozen Sing Along! Hilarious!! The “hosts” of the show are amazing and add that much more magic to the entire show! I’ve loved watching Hollywood Studios transform over the years 😍 truly an amazing park!
It was a hot day so we kicked it back at the hotel pool the remainder of the night! We had a early morning wake up the next day! Can you guess where we were headed on day 4?! 😉
Throwback week!! Day 2!
We stayed at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort! ⭐️
We were pleasantly surprised with how awesome everything ended up being! We had a newly renovated room, it was quiet, low crowds, good food, and we didn’t have to wait long for transportation! It was a win-win for us! The kids loved seeing some of their favorite movie characters throughout the entire resort! 🥰
Because of how late we got in that night (or early morning you could say) we decided to sleep in and take advantage of not being in a car for 20 hours and headed to Disney Springs! On this particular day we had nothing but a dinner reservation so we took our sweet time walking around and enjoying everything Disney Springs has to offer.
We had dinner reservations at Rainforest Cafe which is a must do at least once! The ambiance of the restaurant is a perfect dining experience for the entire family! My go-to at Rainforest is their coconut shrimp! 😋🍤
Disney Springs offers so many restaurants, shopping, snacks & drinks, events, concerts, bowling, movie theater, boating, hot air ballooning, the NBA Experience, the Cirque Du Soleil show, and so much more! 💯
It’s going to be throwback week here! It’s officially been a year since our last trip to Disney World (😭) and I can’t help but reminisce! Day 1!
We drove to Orlando from Illinois and our 15 hour drive turned into a 20+ hour drive thanks to this little guy! 😂😍 so worth it though! I can’t wait to see what his reaction will be later this year when he sees his two favorite characters, Woody and Buzz! ❤️
The new Cirque du Soleil show that’s coming to Disney World April 17th! I love how they incorporated Disney into their show! Cirque du Soleil is a must do!
