We love snow (and by we, I mean me, Nolan and Denali)! ❄️

We got 8 inches of snow since Sunday night! It’s rare for us to get this much snow in Virginia, and we’re anticipating more this weekend! Me, Nolan, and Denali are enjoying every minute of it, Nash and Troy not so much. 😅 Swipe to the end to see how Nash feels about the snow….

There is one more week of Dinoland before we have the first phase of closures on January 13th! 🥲

Triceratop Spin, Fossil Fun Games and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures will be closing forever!! 💔

I’m excited for the new land to come but we sure will miss Triceratop Spin, it’s one of Nolan’s favorites! I’m glad we got to spend an entire day in Dinoland this year winning all the prizes to remember it by! I am heartbroken that the photo booth was always out of paper when we tried to go. If you’re in Orlando this week, go win all the prizes and ride TriceraTop Spin one last time for me! 🦕

2024 was a big Disney year for us! ✨ I can’t believe how much we fit into the year!

•Nash’s First Visit to Disney World.
•Stayed at our DVC home resort for the first time-Grand Floridian.
•Nolan rode so many new rides because of how tall he’s gotten!
•Stayed at a second new resort- Beach Club.
•Celebrated 20th anniversary!
•Stayed at a third new resort- Wilderness Lodge
•Nash’s first Disney Cruise (first ever cruise) and all of our first time onboard the Disney Magic!
•Visited Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point for the first time.
•Attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, AND Jollywood Nights.
•Stayed at our fourth new hotel of the year- Dolphin
•Celebrated Nash’s first birthday!

In total we spent a month of the year at Disney World…😅 In that time we also got to try new restaurants and ride new attractions! The highlights of the year for me were Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club Resort, Jollywood Nights and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. I need to go back to them all immediately.

Surprisingly, we have no Disney World or Disney Cruise plans for 2025, but Disneyland is booked!! 😍

How long do you think we’ll last with just one Disney trip planned for the year? 🤣

On our last trip to Disney we got to experience The Cake Bake Shop Bakery for the first time! This is a brand new addition to Disney’s Boardwalk, and I’ll admit I was hesitant at first…but it’s stunning.

I think it has more of a Grand Floridian vibe, but it’s a nice addition to the Boardwalk. The Cake Bake Shop has a restaurant side and a Bakery side! We only went in the Bakery and were already blown away. It felt like stepping into a movie scene inside. We wanted to try everything but there were only two of us! We will definitely be back for the cake. 🍰 🤤

I was expecting amazing desserts, but the gift shop was something that surprised me! It is adorable and has everything you’d need to celebrate a magical birthday at Disney.

My favorite tradition year after year. 😍🎄🎅

Meeting Santa at is something I can never stop doing. This was Nash’s first year here and it was even more magical than I had imagined. I love watching Nolan grow through these photos, and now they are both here together. 🥹💕

In honor of my birthday, I wanted to highlight my favorite Disney park to celebrate the holidays at! Santa Gertie is unmatched and so are the decorations here! 🦕🎄

Today I turn 32…which means I have one year to meet someone who can make my Disney dream come true of going to Club 33 on my 33rd birthday… anyone know someone who knows someone?? 🤣🙏

Slowly falling more and more in love with the Boardwalk every trip I take! 😍

The Boardwalk Inn is one of the very few Disney hotels I haven’t stayed at, but I love the Boardwalk area as a whole. Yacht Club and Beach Club are two of my favorite hotels on property. The location is unbeatable, there are so many fun things to do around every corner, and it’s so peaceful!

Never did I think of these resorts for a holiday stay, but oh my goodness is the Boardwalk Inn beautifully decorated for Christmas! You should definitely add this resort to your Disney bucket list, especially for a the holidays!

Disney parks at night >> Disney parks during the day!

No matter what time of year it is, I much prefer being at the parks after dark. There’s something more relaxing and fun about being in the parks at night, especially during the holidays!! Magic Kingdom is my least favorite park (I know… 🫣) but snow on Main Street is one of the most magical experiences you can have at Disney! ❄️

Christmas is in ONE WEEK! This year I did a lot of my Christmas shopping at Disney Springs during our vacation! 🛍️🎄

I say this all the time, but Disney Springs is truly Disney’s 5th theme park. I can spend entire days here and not get bored. We went to Disney Springs more times on this trip than any of the theme parks!

World of Disney, Marketplace Co-Op & are some of my favorites!! (& right now you can buy ’s newest collection at the Co-Op!!)

Th holidays at Universal cannot be experienced in just one day. We tried, and failed!

We thought booking breakfast with the Grinch and the Holiday tour would help us see everything Universal has to offer for the Holidays but one day just wasn’t enough time. One major problem, is that the Holiday Tour overlaps with the Macy’s Parade so we missed the ending of the parade to start our tour. 🥲

We felt like we got to fully enjoy Grinchmas with the two experiences but we completely missed out on Christmas in the new DreamWorks land which breaks my heart! There is so much Shrek stuff we missed like meeting Shrek, Fiona and their babies and meeting (and eating) Gingy!

And although we found Earl the Squirrel in the tree, we didn’t get to meet the character during the day. So next time we’ll be dedicating two days to Universal!!

Happy Who-lidays!! 🎄

The Grinch is my family’s favorite Christmas movie so why it took us so long to come to Grinchmas I’ll never know!

We were so determined to meet the Grinch that we booked Breakfast with the Grinch AND the Holiday Tour. The Breakfast was ran perfectly and I can’t recommend it enough! We got to meet the Grinch in under a 5 minute wait while they prepared our breakfast! After that, we could meet Sam I Am and other Whoville citizens whenever we liked. It was a perfect set up.

The Holiday Tour had highs and lows, but meeting the Grinch and seeing the Grinchmas show were definite highs.

If I had to recommend one over the other for the Grinch alone, the breakfast was superior! 🫣

It’s not a trip to Disney for the holidays without a visit to the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house! This year they are celebrating their 25th anniversary of this amazing tradition so be sure to add this to your holiday checklist!

My favorite activity at Festival of the Holidays is…➡️

The cookie stroll!! 🍪 Three new additions this year made the stroll even better. The gingerbread Epcot ball, the new prize, and the cookie stroll box! Although I couldn’t get a box because it sold out every day, it’s such a cute way to collect your cookies and take them home, because there are way too many to eat in one day! I also saw people using this box at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to collect cookies and thought that was so smart!

The gingerbread Epcot ball was beautiful and is a very fun addition to the festival especially with the light show it does. But I will say that cookie was my least favorite of the day, the chocolate and gingerbread just didn’t go together well. My favorite cookie at Epcot, is actually not part of the stroll at all! 😆 It’s the gingerbread cookie sandwich from Karamell-Küche!

I feel like Festival of the Holidays is always forgotten when it comes to Epcot festivals even though it’s one of the best ones! Definitely better than Food and Wine… 🫢

I love the food and drink options, especially the Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini. 🍸🍫

I love the Olaf scavenger hunt. ☃️

I love that you can learn about the holidays in other countries with live storytellers. 🤶

Plus you can meet Santa, see the Candlelight Processional, take fun photos, see special light shows on the ball, and don’t even get me started on the cookie stroll because that will be a post of its own! 🍪
