Who’s ready to begin their Legend on Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Destiny!? 🦸‍♀️

The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025. Not only will this special four-night cruise be the first opportunity for guests to experience all this ship has to offer, but it will also include stops at both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

The maiden voyage will be followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Every sailing will include a day of fun in the sun at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay — some itineraries will even visit both! — and select cruises will feature more sun-soaked relaxation and warm-weather adventure in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico. One of many things that I loved about Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point was how true to the island and culture Disney stayed when designing this port!

The beauty of the island spoke for itself from all areas, but one of my favorite views was on the Nature Trail of the ship! 😍

If you want to journey to ‘Lighthouse Point’ on your next sailing you can walk to it on the beach, or take the nature trail. The trail had water stations and fun facts and took us about 15-20 minutes to make it to the lighthouse. The trail is outlined on the guide map by the yellow lines. 🗺️

Let 2025 be the year you visit Disneyland and step foot in Walt Disney’s apartment inside the park!! ✨

Last year I booked Walt’s Main Street Story which is a tour that ends with a peek inside Walt’s apartment over the fire station in Disneyland! We even got to sit on his patio with a drink and snack enjoying the sounds of the Dapper Dans in the distance. I almost cried. 🥲

Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point…I love you. 🫶🏻

We specifically booked this Disney cruise because it was going to both, Castaway Cay and Lighthouse Point. Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, but Lighthouse Point is Disney’s brand new port on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas!

Upon its opening last month this new port received a lot of hate. All I heard was how terrible the pier was, how long the tram ride was, how hot it was, etc. But I am here to say, this port is amazing. The pier is 0.45 miles and because Disney built a pier here, it doesn’t have to be a tender port which means no canceled port days in rough seas. To help parents & kids get to the end, there are free wagons and strollers you can borrow! And the tram ride? 5 minutes.

The beaches, stunning. I’ve been to a lot of beaches but I don’t know if any compare to this one. Everything is so well laid out and spacious. I can’t say enough good things about this island. I loved it so much I would choose to go back there before Castaway Cay… 🫢

I still have so much to share from this port! Characters, food, merch, and the nature trail! 🏝️

The merch at Castaway Cay got me again! We now have a Mickey shovel in every color, a new beach bag, and a Disney Cruise ship full of sand toys. 😅

But that’s all I got here…the real damage was done at the Lighthouse Point gift shop…

This was my first time back at Castaway Cay since the characters have changed their outfits! What do you think??

I love Donald & Goofy’s outfits but I think I miss some of the old ones. Really it doesn’t matter, because the outfits of Lighthouse Point are the true winners. Just wait and see! 🤩

Happy 8th anniversary ! 🥰

For our 5th anniversary we recreated our wedding photos because we had such a short time for photos on our actual wedding day because of a storm.

For our 10th anniversary we are going to plan an incredible trip…but where!? Troy wants to go to Scotland, I’m thinking Africa! Where would you go if you could go anywhere!?

Our first full day onboard the Disney Magic was spent docked at Castaway Cay which is Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. 🏝️

This was my fourth time to Castaway Cay, it’s one of my all time favorite ports on any cruise I’ve been on. I love being able to walk off the ship and already be at my destination. There’s so much to do, like snorkeling to the underwater statues, or you can choose to do absolutely nothing and sit on the beautiful beach all day long!

Since this is Disney’s port; all of your food and nonalcoholic beverages are included on the island just like the ship!

I’m glad we stopped at Castaway Cay first so I could be reminded how much I love this island before we sailed to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Nothing could beat Castaway Cay….right!?

4 ships down, 1 to go! (For now)

I only have one ship left to sail on before I’ve cruised on all of the cruise ships in Disneys fleet! Unfortunately the Disney Treasure is setting sail at the end of this year and the Disney Destiny next year so instead of having one ship left, I’ll soon have 3!

I love that I have had the opportunity to sail on 4 of Disney’s ships because it helps me, help you find the perfect ship for your vacation!

I need to book a sailing on the Treasure so I can officially say it’s my favorite, but for now I’ll say it’s the Wish! But they all have something that makes them special.

Who’s ready for Disney Cruise content!? 😍

We just got back from my 5th Disney Cruise where we visited Castaway Cay and Disney’s new port, Lookout Cay at Lighhouse Point!

Boarding day is always exciting, but it was extra exciting this time because it was Nash’s first cruise, Hunter’s first Disney Cruise, and all of our first time onboard the Disney Magic! ✨

I’ll be sharing everything but I truly cannot wait to talk about Lighthouse Point!

We are so happy to have the Mickey & Friends meet and greet back at Epcot! 🐭📸

I am actually the most happy about all of Epcot being back open. It was such a nice feeling being able to walk through this reopened area on our last trip, no walls, no long detours!

I can’t wait to see what this area looks like when a festival is going on! 🎉

A day at Magic Kingdom! ✨

We spent one day at the parks before our cruise and were able to pack a lot in! At Magic Kingdom we tried the new waffle selections at Sleepy Hollow, took Hunter on his ride Tron ride, and went on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the pouring rain.

What’s one thing you have to do when you visit Magic Kingdom??

I just got home from my trip and I’m still thinking about our room at Wilderness Lodge! We stayed in a two bedroom villa and it was so spacious! This would have been a perfect room for an extended stay. Two bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with two queens), two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, a living room and dining space with another queen size bed, a washer and dryer, and two balconies! The storage in this room was everything we needed and more. The closet was so big we could fit the crib in there!

If you’re going to Disney for an extended period of time, or with a big group, these suites are a great option!

Every time I think I’ve found my favorite resort at Disney, I stay somewhere new that takes its place. Sooooo, I still have a few more resorts to try, but Wilderness Lodge is my favorite… 🤣

Don’t get me wrong, the convenience of the Epcot area hotels is unmatched, but there’s just something so special about this hotel to me. I really thought I wasn’t going to like it in the summer because it’s so perfect around the holidays, but I think I liked it MORE in the summer! It was beautiful, peaceful, and I truly felt transported to the wilderness!

Now if only I could stay in the cabins here, you’d have to pull me from the room! I’d never leave.

Schedule the resort day. I’ve said it once but I’ll say it again, make time to enjoy your resort while you’re on your Disney vacation!

On our last trip to Disney, we stayed at the Beach Club resort which has the best pool on Disney property. So we had to make sure we set aside time to use it! Which was pretty easy to do since it felt like 100° in the afternoons. We would hit the parks early, take an afternoon pool break, then back the parks in the evening!

There are so many activities to take advantage of at the resorts, and it helps your vacation feel more like a vacation when you take these breaks!

What’s one of your favorite activities at the Disney Resorts? The pool? Free marshmallow roasting? Movies under the stars? Surprise character meet and greets??

I can’t stay away! ✨ I just booked a trip, between my next two trips to Disney. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I skipped the parks last year for the fall and winter festivities, but not this year! I will be back to experience them both! 🎉🎃🎄

I just purchased our tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for October and will be purchasing tickets to Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tomorrow!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens TODAY! 🐸 I can’t wait to go down the bayou in just two weeks!

If you are hoping to ride this reimagined ride, here are the two ways you can experience this attraction:

1.) Virtual Queue
2.) Genie+ lightning lane (soon to be multipass lightning lane)

Tiana’s will not have a standby line. To ride this attraction you must get a complimentary virtual queue boarding group spot or pay for Genie+ and get a lightning lane pass to ride. The first virtual queue opportunity opens at 7:00am, and today that filled in a matter of seconds. There will be a second chance at 1:00pm but you must be in Magic Kingdom to try for this virtual queue. If you have a park hopper ticket and aren’t starting your day in Magic Kingdom, you can hop there before 1:00pm for a chance to ride!

Tiana’s will not be part of the individual lightning lane system. So at least for now, you will not be able to choose what time you ride this attraction. But that will all change when the new lightning lane system launches next month!

Disney released three new discounts today! These two plus a third for annual passholders.

I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Disney today, but was able to apply at least one of these promotions to 6 of my client’s reservations. Saving them a combined total of $3,304.95 AND upgrading some of them to park hopper tickets FOR FREE!

You’re bound to live a crazy life when your mom’s a travel agent, but my work travels don’t tend to take me around the USA, my family does. Because of my dad’s military career and going to college out of state, we have friends and family all over the US.

Nolan has already visited 22 different states, getting 2 new ones in the last month. Nash is catching up quickly with Texas being his 5th. I’m so glad we were able to spend the last week visiting with my 91 year old grandparents. I hate that they live so far away, but we always make the most of the time we get to spend together. This trip, that included lots of good food!

Not one, but two new seasons worth of sailings have just been released for Disney Cruise Line! I will be able to book these for you starting next week but you can explore the options now!

Disney Cruise Line usually offers their best rates when sailings first become available to book. Not only that, but booking this far in advance gives you plenty of time to make payments on your vacation.

Who doesn’t love a Trade Show?? Our travel agent conference ended with a trade show full of different travel suppliers handing out goodies, brochures, and my personal favorite…cruise ship guides! It was a great opportunity to connect with these brands and talk with them one on one and have some fun! Norwegian Cruise Line even had a candy bar set up! 🍭🍬
