We are extremely saddened by the passing of our Queen, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A constant presence throughout our lives for 70 years she was a beacon of stability and an international inspiration who simply made Britain Great.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to King Charles III and the Royal Family at this time.

Walmer Castle in Kent overlooks the English Channel and is the official residence of the Warden of the Cinque Ports. The Queen Mother was the first and only female to be given this honour but none other than her daughter HRH Queen Elizabeth I. The duke of Wellington died here in 1852 and you can still see the chair that he died in in his bedroom along with his famous Wellington Boots!

A magnificent herd of 50 handcrafted life-size elephants will be roaming Chelsea from 17 May to 6 June.

Raising awareness for ‘CoExistence’, the new environmental art campaign from wildlife conservation charity Elephant Family, this extraordinary display of one of the world’s most precious mammals aims to raise funds for conservation projects that enable people and wildlife to live peacefully alongside each other.

From babies and adolescents all the way through to full-grown male Tuskers, these intricate sculptures are made using a natural plant material called Lantana camara.

Follow the trail across the neighbourhood and spot members of the herd.

Our heart is grieving, the Queen’s husband, Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh has sadly passed away at Windsor castle. He was the rock of stability for the Queen, the Royal Family, the British Nation and the Commonwealth. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.

In a normal world we’d be whisking you around the city on one of our many wonderous walking tours, wetting your whistle on our Epic Pub Crawl (because London has some of the finest Irish pubs outside of the Emerald Isle!) or limbering up for a jig around the historic cites on London Town, but for now we simply wish you safe and well! Happy International Women’s Day! 💜
As a female-lead business on there can be no better day to celebrate the women who have made and continue to make London one of the greatest cities on earth. So, to mark this momentous day, we are announcing our new tour that centres around just that- The Women who put London on the map 🗺 Expect tales of badass Boudicea, the explosive activism of Emmeline Pankhurst, Millicent Fawcett’s honour immortalised and many more untold stories about the fantastic females of our country!

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! Happy St David’s Day!☀️
We hope you’ve spent the day scoffing welsh cakes and enjoying the sweet sweet sunshine as we have! Here’s a few fun facts about St David’s Day you always wish you’d known:

☀️ The humble leek has been a symbol of Wales for centuries. It was originally thought to have come about from an ancient legend in which St David advised the Welsh to wear leeks inside their helmets so they’d know who was on their side during the great battle against the Saxons in 893 AD.

☀️ Daffodils are a relatively knew addition to Welsh symbolism. It is thought that the welsh words for daffodil (cenhinen pedr) and leek (cenhinen) were mistaken for one another at some point and the symbol stuck! I wonder what auto-correct thinks of that....

Whatever the reason, St David’s Day is steeped in history and celebrated across the nation (as we sit here and help ourselves to another Welsh cake..) London has now moved to Tier 3 restrictions but that still won’t stop us! We will be returning to guided walking tours your bubble of 6 and we’ll still be bringing bucket loads of charisma, jokes to keep you cackling and a heap of knowledge to rival all family Christmas quizzes! Spotted last week by one of our DYT guides, this striking, colourful & celebratory Ode to London can be found close to Blackfriars Station. Designed and painted by phenomenal talent , commissioned by and completed during THAT torrential rain a few weeks back, the mural shows London in her best, rainbow-toned light and brings a real tear to the eye. 🌈 💧
