Aloha Vacation Cottages is an alternative to the expensive hotels and condos. Small, intimate house for up to 2 people, only. Small guest house with generous amenities offering comfort and convenience for two (2) guests only, the duration of stay (no extra guests permitted on this private property shared with the property owner). Our small size does not accommodate groups of any size. Minimum stay is 5 nights with a maximum stay of 14 nights.

HIKE: Pahu Manamana, through the Manuka and Kipahoehoe forest reserves on the southwestern slope of Mauna Loa volcano.

At around 5,500 foot elevation, it was beautiful forest, then devastation by lava, and back to forest... and on and on as we crossed over the historic flows.
