When traveling with little ones, it’s important to bring items to keep them busy. Some of my go-tos are tablets with their favorite movies downloaded 🎥 , a few small figures or matchbox cars 🚗 , and lots of yummy snacks! And don't forget their favorite blankie and/or stuffy. 🧸 What are your must-haves for traveling with kids??

Bonus Pro-tip: When traveling with young children, consider a flight schedule that takes place during a child’s naptime or bedtime. Then they get to arrive well-rested and you get to enjoy the ride. 🛫

Since today is Mother's Day, I thought it might be a good time to introduce myself (it will make sense in a minute) and let your know what we are all about here at Expedition Ohana. My name is Katlyn; I am the owner of Expedition Ohana Travel Planning. I am also a pediatric registered nurse and a single mom of three beautiful babies (see, I told you it would make sense :) ).

When I first decided to start this business, I was actually smack dab in the middle of a vacation with my (11-month-old) twins. It was my first real vacation with them, and our first international trip as a family. I have always been an avid traveler, but I never realized how different it would be once I had a few extra stowaways. But as hard as this vacation was, it was also so wonderful to be able to introduce my babies to a new part of the world. I knew then that I wanted to figure out a way to not only help other families experience the magic of travel but also build a business that would let me spend more time with my kids more and continue to show them this big beautiful world.

Traveling, especially at this time, can be incredibly overwhelming to think about, even more so when adding in littles, grandma and grandpa, the entire family reunion group, a family member with special medical needs, etc. That's where we come in. When you book with a travel planning company, like Expedition Ohana, we want to take away all the stress of planning and coordinating and booking; our goal is for you to be able to just enjoy the vacation and revel in the memories you're making with your family.

To kick it off, we are sharing this fabulous news: Disney Parks announced the official return date for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party! This separate ticket event invites guests into the parks after hours to celebrate the season with their favorite Spooks and delicious Halloween treats! The event features exclusive nighttime entertainment, some *fabulous* ticket-or-treating in the park, and lots of amazing (and rare) character interactions! Definitely a fun event for the whole family!
