😱You won’t believe this, BUT this seems to be a more common problem than I realized!
On my last post about bathroom issues in Disney, SO MANY moms said that the self-flushing turbo toilets are a real problem for their little kids! So, I want to share super easy tips for how to avoid a tearful meltdown or constipation holding it in during your Walt Disney World vacation.

Honestly, I never thought about it before, but as a mom and Disney travel specialist, I can totally understand how terrifying Disney’s theme park toilets must be. They sound like jet engines and suck everything down with the force of a hurricane. 🌀 I’m sure your little ones will assume they will get sucked down too!
So cover the sensor with a sticky note or wadded up toilet paper. Worst case…put your hand over firmly over the sensor until your child exited the stall. I hope this helps!

Many of the hotels off Disney property look enticing (and so does the price tag), but you may be very disappointed if you don’t consider these 5 things that can make or break your Disney vacation!
1️⃣ Resort fees ranging from $20 - $50 per night! That adds up!
2️⃣ Proximity of the hotel’s drop off location at the park. Those long walks at the end of the night when everyone is tired is not fun at all!
3️⃣ Transportation schedules. Many property resorts provide transportation to the parks, but be sure to check how frequently they run! You don’t want to be stuck waiting for pick up and possibly miss dining reservations, parades or lightning lane times!
4️⃣ Distance from the parks. Orlando is a huge city! Make sure you consider where you’re staying in relation to the parks. And don’t froget to factor in traffic! All this time adds up!
5️⃣ The Disney bubble! once you get to your resort, you are in the Disney Bubble. There is no need to go anywhere outside of Disney, and Disney provides free transportation to all four parks. The magic & level of service is just not the same when you have to pack up and head outside Disney property.

BONUS TIPS⤵️ ⤵️ Since it’s an extra ticketed event, Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party can be expensive, so make sure you are maximizing your time there with these tips:🎃 meet popular characters before the party begins exclusive character meet and greets are a big benefit to the party so get in line for characters like Jack Skellington, Sally and Elvis stitch as early as 4:30 PM to avoid the really long lines later in the night🎃Watch the second Boo to you parade it is less busy so you can get a better seat and you can enjoy shorter lines on the attractions during the first parade 🎃Bonus tip if you’re going to wear a costume, make sure that you are keeping it light September and October can still be very hot in Florida. Don’t make the mistake of wearing a heavy hot costume that you have to carry around all night with you.
