Did you put your Christmas jumper on today?

Today, our lovely Tour Leaders donned their festive jumpers on their tours, spreading the festive cheer. Below, we have Alan Tolley in his finest jumper, as well as one of our beloved guests going the extra mile with the hat and beard!

As always, at Myley, we aim to spread joy and create memories.

Our Tour Leader, John, took the lovely residents from Grosvenor Manor to the Blue Planet Aquarium.

Our guests spent the day watching fish, tarantulas and lizards, to name but a few!

Many guests recalled heartwarming memories of similar trips with their children and grandchildren. These stimulating, exciting trips make Myley Tours so unique.

These are the words from the wonderful Nora,

Nora joined us for a tour of the local park and allotments in Bristol a couple of weeks ago. Upon meeting her, we instantly knew her contagious energy and passion for life had to be captured. She was a natural in front of the camera!

Myley Tours can significantly improve the well-being of those in care homes. Whilst Nora expressed how lucky she felt for being in the home she was in, Myley Tours provide stimulation, variation and an exciting date in the diary.

We visited Lovell Place Care Home in Bristol, which is a part of Hamberley Care Homes, to record Nick and his wonderful team of guests visiting a local park and then onto bowling.

Marc, our cameraman, managed to capture what Myley is all about, and we are extremely excited to show you what we captured soon!

Another milestone on the Myley journey!

We have been looking forward to today since we relaunched our brand earlier this Summer. Today, the first bus was dressed in its mighty fine Myley livery before rolling out for duty.

Thanks to Popin for helping us get everything ready. You've done a great job and already helped us turn a few heads.

Our buses are never standing still for long. Tour Leader, Nick Winter, drove straight from the workshop to Lovell Place (Hamberley Care Homes) where he was met by the home's team and residents.

"It looks so brilliant", said Selina, the home's well-being lead, "we can't believe we're the first on board".

Our guests certainly didn’t think a giraffe's head through the bus window was on the itinerary!

This week, our Tour Leader, Alan, took a group to the West Midlands Safari Park, where zebras and giraffes got a bit too close for comfort, giving everyone onboard a good chuckle.

At Myley, we are dedicated to creating memorable and exciting days out for all our guests.

Racking up the miles!

Over the last year, we have provided over 1,342 trips for over 4,000 Care home residents. As of October last year, we conducted 55 trips. This year, we reached 211 trips.

This incredible growth is a testament to our unwavering dedication to ensuring enriching and meaningful experiences, one amazing trip at a time.

We met with our drivers at the start of October to bond over a team lunch and introduce them to dementia training!

Not only are our Tour Leaders your companions in discovery, but they also unlock unique experiences at spectacular locations carefully assessed to ensure they deliver delight.

This dementia training extends our dedication to providing comfort and safety for all, no matter their needs.

To many care home residents, travelling on a narrow boat through a scenic canal would seem impossible...

For Myley guests, this is a reality.

Les recently joined us for a narrow boat cruise through the Montgomery Canal in Wales. The fond memories he shared of narrow boating show how our tours help our guests recall happy memories whilst creating new ones.

We have such an incredible team of Tour Leaders.

A week ago, we came together to have a training day and talk about our plans for the future (we have lots!). We had a brilliant training session from the on the importance of Dementia awareness in the world of transport, which left us all thinking about ways we can enhance our tours for those guests who are living with the disease.

We are always blown away by this team with their endless enthusiasm, attention to detail and the amount they care about making every tour special for each individual on board.
