It’s no secret that we love Parlor Doughnuts that is located about a mile down from our condos!! Today we packed up a half dozen to make the trek back to Kansas via airplane, which we do almost every trip down to PCB. That’s 1100 miles by road, even more via the air! We have the transport process down to a science on what boxes fit & they also get special carry-on treatment!

You knew that our condos have the famous Emerald Coast beach view from the balconies…but did you know our front features a golf course and resort view? There is a walking/tram bridge in our tower’s parking lot that takes you from the condos to the clubhouse/recreation facilities. They have golf, pickleball, tennis, basketball and more options in addition to the indoor workout facility.

When we went to name our condos in Florida, we wanted to make them a unique name with a nod to Kansas as Kansans ourselves. Hence our No Place Like Edgewater Condos small business name and then OZsome Beach Retreat and OZsome Dream Come True. We want our condos to be an escape from the same ol’ daily grind and stress just like OZ was for Dorothy. The area of the gulf coast where Panama City Beach is is known as the Emerald Coast which also makes a wonderful connection with Emerald City. And yes, of course both our condos have the DVD in their movie collection just in case someone wants to watch it while on their vacation!! Today marks the official 85th Anniverary of the release of the Wizard of Oz in theaters! Happy 85th Birthday, Wizard of Oz!

The beaches are near empty, but it is still summer! If you’re lucky enough to have some time off available to hit the beach between now and early October, this is the best time to go for your own slice of paradise. Our rates are super low, even for Labor Day Weekend!

The summer rush is gone and the nightly rates are LOW! Find a few days to get an escape when the beaches aren’t crowded and the temps are still wonderful.
