Today we experienced TRON Lightcycle/Run for the first time. We had a virtual queue, number 74, and a Lightning Lane for 11:35am.
They did not start calling for groups until the park opened at 9:00am. We stayed in the Tomorrowland area to be ready for when our group was called.
We ended up using our LL first. It took about 15 minutes from the time we first scanned in until we were in the actual ride queue. We rode on the second set of bikes. It was very smooth, even the takeoff. Lots of turns and a couple hills but nothing extreme. We both enjoyed it and were looking forward to riding it again.
Our virtual queue group was called at 2:18pm. All morning the groups were called slowly but picked up after noon. The VQ is the regular line as there is not a stand-by line currently. Once in this line it took 40 minutes until we until we were in the actual ride queue. Another 10-15 minutes until we boarded the ride. This time we were in the fifth row, there is a total of eight rows. We both felt being towards the back was a better experience as you saw more and the ride was a bit more intense.
A couple of items to note.
1- You are not allowed to scan in early. You must wait for your LL time or your group to be called. On the same token, you are not allowed to arrive late. You have one hour to scan in and then adhere to it.
2- If you have young children who are tall enough to ride. Have them try out the test vehicle located before you get in line. And push the back restraint down slightly they can see how it will feel. Unfortunately one young guest, who was excited to ride, became rather scared when the back restraint was locked into place and they had to leave the ride.
The area for TRON is very nice. Lots of shade and benches to sit on. There is a snack location before you head up the ramp (pics included) and a set of restrooms before you get in line.

Where to stay Wednesday.
Old Key West is a Disney Vacation Club and on the Deluxe resort category. You do not need to be a DVC member to stay here, it is open to everyone. This is a studio that sleeps four. The rooms are a bit larger than a standard room. Bonus, a lot of the villas surround the golf course so the avid golfer in your party can sit and watch others play. Of course, they might end up booking a round or two for themselves.

Here are a few of my thoughts on the Disney's Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser experience.
It was incredible. If I had to use only one word to describe the experience, the word is incredible.
From the moment you arrive at the guard gate to enter the drive to the shuttle hanger, until you are back in your personal transport to depart, everyone and everything you encounter is incredible.
If you are a Star Wars enthusiast or even into Star Trek, this is an experience for you. BUT you do not need to know anything about Star Wars to enjoy this, you just might not understand all of the references made. You can participate as much or as little as you want, whether you become fully invested in the experience or you just want to enjoy a bit of space travel and the offerings of the star cruiser. This is an experience for the young and old alike and I honestly think some of the older crowd were more into some of the missions than the younger crowd.
One thing I was not expecting is that this is a VIP experience. By this I mean, if you want something, and it is available, just ask. I did not realize we had a cabin steward, but she came in the middle of the day to freshen the room and based on items I had arranged them neatly in a presenting manner. It had all of the little touches to make you feel special.
All meals are included, even snacks, and if you have dietary restrictions, they will do their absolute best to accommodate your needs.
Speaking of meals, be adventurous. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style but dinner is served family style and if you want more of a particular dish, just asked. Remember you are traveling in space with offerings from across many planets.
On the second and only full day, you can visit the planet of Batuu. You have the option of completing missions on Batuu or venturing out farther into areas outside of Batuu. We chose to stay in full experience mode but were quite busy during our time there. We did go back to the ship for lunch but returned after a couple hours as we had a contact to meet at Oga's which led to other encounters before we headed back to the ship in the evening.
On the starcruiser, we experienced many new things which include light saber training and learning how to run the bridge. We fixed a couple of items in the engineering room and helped with a secret mission. One thing to know is that it is impossible to do everything and, depending on your responses to questions and requests, you may end up on a different path than others, even members of your own party.
This truly is an incredible experience and I would go back again tomorrow if I could.

Today my brother and I checked into the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. I am beyond excited for this experience. So far we have eaten lunch, explored part of the ship, participated in the ship muster and are heading to lightsaber training.
