Live your dream and join now on Nusa Lembongan to dive with the ocean sunfish, Mola Mola!
Mola Mola are also know as sunfish, refering to the animal's habit of sunbathing at the surface of the water. But contrary to the perception that sunfish spend much of their time basking at the surface, Mola adults actually spend a large portion of their lives actively hunting at depths greater than 200m and up to 600m!

Amazing Snorkling experience in Gili T minus the crowd🐠 Welcome to the Biorock Project by
Biorock is a technology using a low current voltage to stimulate corals growth. In fact, thanks to this innovation, these corals are more resistance to environmental stress caused by high temperature and acidity.
I guess we know now who’s responsible of the magnificant marine ecosystem in Gili T 😏

For those who didn’t know, the story of Prambanan Temple is related to an ancient love tale of Roro Jongrang.

Princess Roro Jongrang was proposed by Prince Bandung Bandasawa but she swiftly rejected. After he insisted, she finally agreed on one condition.

She demanded him to build 1000 temples before the sun rise. After the 999th temple, she knew that he could finish it so she began to pound rice, fooling the rooster that it’s already morning. It left the Prince broken-hearted that he cursed Roro Jongrang into a statue that can be seen in the main temple until today.

Traveling Slow has made me realize that a lot of things are unnoticed.

Traveling slow is not merely about the duration, but it is more about the perspective. During my travel in Yogyakarta, I have learnt how to make the most out of our limited time in quality instead of quantity. Taking my time to sit down with the ladies who make handheld bamboo fans while talking about flood that happened recently in Jakarta or getting a brief Javanese language from a lady who makes her own coconut sugar. I won’t meet them if I didn't decide to slow down and just enjoy the moment.

As the Javanese says, “ojo ngoyo!” or don’t rush things!

Yogyakarta is Heaven for Traditional Local Artisans.

Exploring the area around Kasongan, 30 minutes on the south from Yogyakarta city center, we stopped by a local artisan studio that makes handheld folding fans from bamboo. Here, they cut and shape the bamboo into folding skeletons before they let them out to dry. Then, they use WASTE from local fabric factories and soak it in starch water to make the fabric sturdy for the fans. The ladies who work in the studio are very kind too! We didn’t feel like we’re strangers there. They shared stories about the making of these handheld fans and we also shared many laughs.

Here, we were helping them packing 2000ish handheld fans for export. You can grab yours somewhere in Germany for 4 EUR (that’s what it says on the price tag lols!). Otherwise, you can come to visit their workshop in Yogyakarta for a friendly chat and buy their specially handmade fans directly from their studio.

This might be the kind of ‘Rocky Road’ you’ve been craving for.

Mt. Kerinci is not only the highest active volcano in Sumatra but also in Indonesia. It’s accessible from Padang, a city which is less than 2 hours flight from Singapore.

Climbing one of the Indonesia’s highest peaks can be challenging but the view and experience make it all worth it!

WHAT TO SEE IN INDONESIA IN 3 WEEKS

Try to Google that up and see what comes up. We’ll tell you what’s on it to save you a little bit of time: BALI, JAVA, LOMBOK, KOMODO. Do Indonesia really consists of those islands only?

Well, the point is while Google, blogs and guides make perfect resources. However, your own travel journey should not be dictated solely by those resources. Explore the off-beaten paths, talk to locals or fellow travelers, embrace the ‘Surprise Moments’ in your travels. By doing so, you have created stories and experiences that are authentic to you only anywhere you go.

Here’s for the new travels, creating your authentic moments that last for a lifetime🌏🥂🍻

We envy .bonifazi.photo for his ‘Surprise Moment’ meeting this cute Orang Utan in Sumatra, don’t you agree?

THE REAL WORLD IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF FEAR

Now that traveling becomes more accessible than ever, the only thing that stops you from going is FEAR.

Fear that it won’t be safe, Fear that the locals might not be so welcoming. Fear that it won’t be the reality of what you found on the internet.

The media has been too involved in shaping our perspective on the real world for a very long time. Enough is enough! You own the utmost to see the word as it is for yourself👊🏼

Are you ready to embark on an adventure to see the world as it is?

has overcome her fear and saw it for herself. Active volcanoes are not so bad after all! 🌋

Located within the world’s Pacific Ring of Fire, Indonesia is heaven for volcanoes enthusiasts out there.

Currently, there are 127 active volcanoes in Indonesia and here are 5 of our favorites! 🌋Ps: you can explore all of them if condition permits

Looks like it but this is NOT Bali. Another 1.5 hour flight from Bali will take you here and secure your uninterrupted sunset spot
