Last full day on the AmaSiena!
We traveled to Amsterdam overnight. Here we took a bus to Keukenhof Gardens where we enjoyed all the tulips and flowers (over 7 million).

We also tried a Tulip inspired cocktail!

Day 5!
The morning was spent sailing to Düsseldorf! We experienced Fruhschoppen on the ship - it’s a popular tradition in southern Germany with beer, snacks, and folk music.

The afternoon was spent touring the city of Cologne where we visited a gothic cathedral.

A nice surprise - Mike and I got to eat dinner at the Captain’s Table for the Farewell Gala Dinner.

Day 4!
We spent the afternoon sailing through the Rhine Gorge seeing over 20 castles along the Rhine.
We stopped in Lahnstein, Germany and visited Lahneck Castle.

Third full day on the AmaSienna! The morning was spent in Speyer, Germany to see medieval sites, try the local beer, and have a pretzel.

Then we sailed to Rüdesheim, Germany where we explored some Rudesheimer coffee and walked along the empty streets.

Second full day on the Rhine and it was as great as the first. We toured the French town of Strasbourg. Where we encountered some rain and hail. We ate at a local restaurant, visited a local pub, and had a wine tasting.

Day 1 and 2 were fantastic! We are on the AmaSienna ship with Amawaterways doing the Rhine river cruise.
We started in Basel, Switzerland and our first day was spent in Riquewihr, France. We learned about the culture and history of the Alsace region, had a wine tasting in a cellar built in 1572, and tasted some local cheese and pastries. Excited to see what tomorrow holds!

Tomorrow is the day!!

Guess where we are going?!?! ✈️

A riverboat cruise 🛳 in Europe! We will get to see the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Switzerland!! We decided to treat ourselves for our 20th anniversary in June! 😃

It’s supposed to be low 50’s and raining most days, but we will enjoy all the sites, castles 🏰, vineyards and wine tasting, beer tasting in Germany 🍺, and end with a garden tour of the tulips 🌷 in Amsterdam!!

Day 5 on the Norwegian Viva!

We sailed to Antigua. It was one of my FAVORITE days of the entire trip! We visited Dennis Cocktail Bar & Restaurant on Ffryes Beach. It had the most PERFECT views - seriously, picturesque! This is definitely an island I want to visit again!

Day 4 on the Norwegian Viva!

We sailed to Barbados and decided to hit the shopping areas! We stopped at De Office Cafe and Bar where we tried their local beer, Banks, and some fantastic local food!

We headed back to the ship ⛴ for a little lounge time by the pool 🏊‍♀️

Day 3 on the Norwegian Viva!

Longer boat ride overnight and into the morning to get to St. Lucia where we spent the afternoon at St. Lucia Yacht Club on Rediut Beach. The weather was great!

Day 2 on the Norwegian Viva was excellent!

Visited the island of Tortola for the day. Rode in an “open air cab,” visited a local beach, and had lunch and cocktails 🍹 🍗 at Paradise Club Lounge Bar & Restraunt right on Cane Garden Bay.

We also did a rum tour and tasting. This was one of my favorite stops!!
