If you’re after an adventure few have embarked on before, this is it!

Price is based on 2 adults sharing a room on an 11 night G Adventures "Explore Jordan & Saudi Arabia Ancient Trade Routes tour". Flights are with Etihad Airways (via Abu Dhabi) and depart London Heathrow on 20 October 2023 to arrive into Amman and then depart from Jeddah on 1 November 2023 (11 nights plus one night on the plane in both directions).
Own room supplement from +£859pp for single travellers.

Hotel review time!

Now, Let me start by saying Phenicia Hotel is probably the best hotel I've stayed in!

Why? Because the staff were the happiest and friendliest I've ever experienced and it was clear that they loved being part of the team.

Was it the best food and facilities I've ever had? No but I'm fussy with food anyway 😅 and this is probably why it's only 4 star

Now one thing that let me down on this hotel...... Lack of air con! Now I'm not a heat lover and the 26-30 degree heat was unbearable for me, but they don't switch Aircon on until mid June because that's when they deem it hot!

Let's talk food! It wasn't the largest choice of food I've experienced in All inclusive but how much choice do you really need?

Breakfast - all your typical continental goodies, pastries, meats, cheeses etc
Tunisian hot dinner and the grill offered cooked to order crepes, fried eggs and Omelettes

Lunch and Dinner - 2x Grill areas, one providing grilled meat and pasta dishes and the other making fresh meals in front of you. Typical meat section, Tunisian cuisine section and an Italian area, salad and cheese area and a selection of desserts

2 pools at this hotel, firstly is the quiet pool that is half in door and half outdoor, now for me the downside of this pool was drink availability, the closest bar was reception above it but there are swimwear rules on entering this bar, otherwise you need to go to the pool bar at the main pool.

So the main pool is stunning! Music plays at the pool except during lunch opening hours, the pool bar is in the middle of the pool, accessed by steps in the pool or a ramp out of the water. The pool is shallow enough to step into on one side and gets deeper the other side. There's is a small children's pool and play area adjacent.

Up on the pool bar is another pool to have a little dip whilst having a drink or.... You know, pop the kids in that pool while you enjoy a drink 😅

The beach is gorgeous 🤩 beautiful sand and also a beach bar and BBQ restaurant! The sea is lovely and you can hire pedalos, jet skis, banana boats etc and even enjoy some camel or horse riding.

The hotel sell excursions and will discount prices for you 🛥️

No man's fort! One of the best alternative hotels I've ever visited.

Roof top hot tubs, look out platform, restaurant, bar, activities and an amazing experience!

Just a short boat ride from Gunwharf Quays.

Let's just say getting in and out of this chair wasn't very elegant 😅😂
