We’ve always wanted to bike ride around Lake Burley Griffin. On our way home from the Snowy Mountains in January we ticked off 2 of the 3 lake loops- western and middle. Your group can experience a shorter version of this ride while in Canberra with Cycle Canberra.

We know your school groups can’t do a scenic helicopter flight over the Alps, but hey, we reckon you’ll enjoy living vicariously through ours!

It was amazing to see an aerial view of the main range walk we did the day before.

Oh dear…where has Term 1 gone? We didn’t finish posting about our January Snowy Mountains Adventure!

Term 1 has been crazy busy booking and sending schools out on their own adventures!

It’s school holidays again and we’re busy exploring the Northern Territory, but before we can share that adventure with you, here’s some more from our January Alpine experience.

We loved the views, the village, the chairlift, maybe a sneaky Espresso Martini at Eagles Nest Cafe - perched high above Thredbo Village, at 1937 metres, it’s Australia’s highest restaurant!

We had originally set out for a shorter Kosciuszko Summit Walk, however felt the urge to walk the grade 4, 23km Main Range Track. This view is taken at the beginning of the walk from Charlotte’s Pass and overlooks the Snowy River crossing. This may have been an impulse decision due to FOMO. 🙄😬🥾🩹😮‍💨🏆🏔

Have you registered for your schools virtual Canberra excursion yet? It’s not too late!

We know how disappointed our teachers and students are, having missed their Canberra excursion 2 years running.
While it’s not the same as being there, this is a wonderful opportunity for your students.
And we’re looking forward to taking you all back to Canberra when it’s safe to do so!
Head to the website to register for this event.

So it’s World Photography Day and we wanted to join the fun - not that we’re very good photographers here at MET! There may be a filter 🤷🏼‍♀️😆 We absolutely LOVE the Whitsundays! This pic is from Greg and Heidi’s archives from their sailing adventure in the Whitsundays in 2013. It’s still their favourite place on earth 💙💛 #

MET’s heart is to relieve some of the burden from teachers through incredibly well-organised excursions, but also to empower students to visit unique destinations across our nation that inspire learning.
