I'm not sure if anyone of you has had an experience to travel in Mumbai local train. In Tokyo metro station during the peak office hours, it is pretty much the same.

Though coming from India, crowded trains were definitely not an issue but if you're travelling with polite Japanese people be ready to hear sorry every 10 seconds for more than 100 times on your train ride.

DID YOU KNOW? In Japan, there is a tradition that the students themselves clean their schools. For just 15 minutes at the end of the day, students clean the classrooms, bathrooms, and other school spaces.

It instills good values in the kids. It teaches them from a young age that public space is a shared space, and everyone is responsible for maintaining it. This is one reason why Japan as a whole is so clean.

It was for the first time I was staying at a 5 star hotel, and being a curious person I had to inspect every single thing in the room🙈

Did you know Japanese fridges have sensors which will automatically bill for an item as soon as you pick it up!!

I joined a couple of classes while in university and Aikido was one of them. Isn't it a dream to be able to learn something right where it originated.
Being a young athletic person while also being a national level hockey player I was definitely overconfident during my first lesson.
Can you guess what must have happened?
That day taught me valuable life lessons which I can never forget.

I experienced something in Japan that one gets to see only in sci-fi movies. I actually went inside a nuclear reactor. As a student it was a mind boggling experience only possible because of our college Dean, professor Fujiwara who arranged for special permission and visit.

Outside my university was a small family run restaurant. One of my friend introduced me to the lady running it and she would cook vegetarian food for me as I don't eat non-vegetarian food. Japanese lady did not understand english but I could talk to her for hours and she would just listen, it was a special bond between us. During the end, I guess that was one of my hardest goodbye.

Traveling gives you a chance to meet such special people in life who will always leave a deep impact, I cannot be more grateful to Japan, its people and their humbleness.
