First time getting to @flysnf for the first two days of the show. Lots of miles walked, lots of showcases seen and our necks still have a kink in them from looking up…but we will be back. Nice to recharge and experience an aviation gem. From manufacturers like @daherkodiak and @wacoaircraft to the fun atmosphere around paradise city with a @nationalstol showcase, upstart vendors like @toprudderaircraft, gyroplanes from @autogyrousa et al and lots of UL/LSA aircraft. Speakers organized by @eaa @flywithaopa and media outlets like @flyingmagazine and more. Air show performances from @polarisprogram and all sorts of folks flying with lots of pyro strapped to themselves. And drones, hordes of synchronized drones. Time to get back to the real world and try to get this project off the ground!
From the mundane paperwork to the more exciting content creation, things keep moving forward for FlightRecon. We were granted our 501(c)3 status, opened a bank account, had our first board meeting and continued to work on the mountains of written content for the launch of the website. Headed to @flysnf next month with some cards and stickers and hope to start spreading the word for a launch sometime in the next few months. Can’t wait to share the content and vision!
Getting closer every day. We have sent off our paperwork to be recognized as a 501(c)(3) corporation, set up a splash page at FlightRecon.org and started filming. Most our of branding materials are complete, and we are working steadily on all the content to populate our website. It’s always more work than you think but excited to debut FlightRecon in the coming months.
