London Transport Bus Garage in St Leonards Road/Frances Road at WINDSOR, dating from about 𝟭𝟗𝟯𝟯 and NOW (tall apartments replaced garages). There is still a bus stop with connections providing to Slough or all Heathrow terminals. First bus runs from 3:44 a.m.. 🚌

PEOPLE ARE GATHERING AROUND THE CASTLE DUE TO QUEEN'S BAD HEALTH CONDITION 🔴[LIVE]

*️⃣ [6 p.m] Media and passersby stopping next to Windsor Castle to hear any neawses about Queen's Elizabeth II health conditions. Prince William driving a car containing Princes Andrew, Edward, and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex arrived to Balmolar where QUEEN is. Also, all the Queen’s children are now there plus her grandson and two daughter-in-laws. Only Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge stayed in Windsor.

Victoria Street (in the picture turning to Alexandra Rd), was cut through in 1840s to provide quicker road to West Windsor. Among the new buildings growing next to that area Burge's Brewery also arose famous from beer suitable to everyone - rich and poor community. Sadly, business had to be closed in 1931. Tradition of Windsor brewing lasted for well over 300 years. As you can see now in the same place there is a multistorey car park.

Magna Carta Libertatum (Medieval Latin for "Great Charter of Freedoms"), commonly called Magna Carta or Magna Charta ("Great Charter"), is a royal charter of rights agreed to by King John of England, signed on the meadow at Runnymede 6 km away from Windsor, on 15 June 1215.

Magna Carta was the first document to put into writing the principle that the king and his government was not above the law. It sought to prevent the king from exploiting his power, and placed limits of royal authority by establishing law as a power in itself.

The four surviving copies of Magna Carta have been admitted to the 'Memory of the World' register by Unesco - like a 'life tme achievement award' for old documents. You can find copies in Lincoln, Salisbury and two in the Magna - hoarding British Library.

PRINCE WILLIAM CARRIED OUT IMPORTANT ROYAL DUTY❗️💂‍♀️

The Duke of Cambridge took the salute from the Irish Guards regiment, and presented them their new colors at a special ceremony on Tuesday.

Later on, long parade showed up on Windsor streets observed by many people accompanied by beautiful weather.

📍 There was The Lord Raglan pub near Combermere Barracks. It was exactly the last house in the background of the top picture. You can also see the Guards march past on the way to church parade in Holy Trinity church when Edwardian time had place. Most of you know, that it would be impossible to use this road for the march nowadays, as the road layout altered.

📍 The building placed on Victoria Street, where The Acre pub operates, hides a lot of history. It was a Windsor Infirmary, which replaced the Free Dispensary, dating from 1818, in 1834. However, despite later extensions it became too small for its purpose, and in 1907, a new, larger hospital, the King Edward VII, was opened along St Leonard's Road. The infirmary, like nearby brewery, survived for some years. Completely new buliding, survives till now, has been erected on the site in 1973.

MGallery Accor in Windsor has been transitioned to Sutton Hotel Collection ⚫️⚪️🏨

Sutton Hotel Collection will be now comprising the 108-bedroom Castle Hotel Windsor, 84-bedroom Queens Hotel Cheltenham (pictured) and 98-bedroom Francis Hotel Bath, however they will be no longer a part of the MGallery Accor brand. The official opening has happened today.
