How does throwing yourself off of 200m high bridge feel like?

You feel like a bird, maybe even a paper, weightless, like everything and anything is possible.

😭😭😭 later on that day I found those white dudes at the local backpackers hostel, two were from The Netherlands and the other from Germany. All backpacking through RSA. The two that came together convinced us to go water tubing with them. Adamant cause we had already paid big money to do the bungee, we gave in. We did go swimming down a tannin filled river (which means black water), in between a gorge using tubes. We were headed to the open ocean. I don't remember their names, nor will I ever see them again but they form part of a grand memory, to have pushed me to swim in wild waters (I don't think I'll ever do that again but I'm more fit now, 🤷🏿‍♀️ so just maybe) .

Location: Bloukrans Bridge in Tsitsikamma, the worlds highest commercial bungee jumping bridge.

People have travel goals of visiting South Africa, as a resident of this country you are at luck. Explore your backyard. My roadtrip took me through 3 small towns, Kaapschehoop which is an hour away from Nelspruit, Machadodorp which is an hour 30 minutes from Nelspruit and Dullstroom which is 2 hours away from Nelspruit. I visited one after the other as mentioned and what a grand idea that was. Various activities, out in nature, amazing drive, scenery, trout fish galore and endless fun.

Depending on how you look at it, the plus is one can't plan so far ahead this year, it's as though we have to do as we see fit for a period not too far from now cause we just never know. Forced to accept and enjoy the here and now amidst the crazy.

Blyde river reserve is such a wonder.
Love how nature orientated the region is, the deforestation is a whole other issue but lovely area. Would've loved to pack up the oxygen from there 😭
